Katelyn's PoV

It's been a week since Travis and I had kissed at A-Con. He won't leave me alone about it and it's starting to annoy me. Big time. I was walking out of the house to go get some groceries when I heard someone scream my name. "Hey Katelyn!" Speak of the devil. "What do you want Travis?" I said as I turned around with a sound of annoyedness laced in my words. He little a bit taken aback. "U-um I was just wondering if maybe we could you know g-go out some time. M-maybe to a movie?" This was the 15th time this week he's asked me out. This was the last straw. "Travis! For the last time!! No means no so just leave me alone!!!" I hopped into my gray pickup and went off for groceries. Leaving Travis in the driveway. I feel bad for being so mean but it's just so annoying how every time I look into his eyes my heart feels weird and I can never think straight around him. I hate the feeling he gives me. No meditation can fix how angry I am now. I zoned out thinking about how rude I was to Travis actually feeling regretful when I heard a bunch of honking go off and pull me out of my trance. I saw a 16 wheeler headed straight for me and next thing I knew my truck was smashed and I was thrown across the intersection and started blacking out. But before I did last thing came out of my lips. "I-I'm sorry...Travis."

Aphmau PoV

I was at Aaron's house when I got a phone call. "Who's it from?" Aaron asked. "The hospital?" I answered it only to be thrown into a state of shock. I quickly said goodbye to the nurse on the phone, grabbed Aaron and headed for the door. "A-Aph?" I couldn't help but let the tears start flowing. "We have to get everyone! Katelyn's in the hospital!" Aaron grabbed his car keys and told me to get Kawaii~Chan and head over while he got the boys. I quickly nodded and ran home. I was so worried about Katelyn. I didn't let the nurse finished I just heard her say Katelyn was there and I hung up. I hope she's okay. Kawaii~Chan looked surprised when I barged in crying. "Oh my Irene! Aphmau~senpai what's wrong?" She asked as she put the last cookie in a bag filled with them. "It's Katelyn! She's in the hospital! We need to go! Now!" She grabbed her car keys and ran to the door. Not even letting go of the cookies. She too burst into tears as we drove off

Travis's PoV

I was down in my room looking at a picture Kawaii~Chan had taken of Katelyn and I at A-Con. I couldn't get her out of my head. I wanted to kiss her again but she got annoyed by me. I'm so stupid to think that someone like me deserves someone as amazing as Katelyn. No, nobody's as amazing as her. Just as my thought had finished I heard a few big bangs on the front door. I ran up stairs to see all the guys at the door talking to Aaron. "H-hey what's going on?" I asked a bit nervous since Aaron has never come barging on the door like that. "Katelyn is in the hospital! We need to go now!" My heart stopped for a second. Next thing I knew I was sitting in Aaron's car with the guys piled up in the back, me in the shotgun.

Once we got there we saw and Kawaii~Chan hugging each other crying. Aaron ran up to Aphmau and hugged her. "Did you find out what happened?" She nodded slowly. "While Katelyn was driving apparently a big 16 wheeler ran a red light and smashed into her truck. She is in surgery right now getting pieces of glass taken out of her body." On instinct I charged to the ER but the doctors wouldn't let me in. "Sir, this is restricted area. You can't go in. You must wait in the waiting area." I had to see her. I had to see my Katelyn. "No let me go I have to see her!!!" I kept pushing through till I felt someone grab the back of my sweater and yank me back. "Travis calm down! She will be fine. Don't worry." Aaron tried to get me to calm down but I just couldn't not with Katelyn hurt. I shook my head and protested. "Sorry doctors but do you have any duct tape?" They nodded and the next thing I knew I blacked out. Once I woke up I was duct taped to a chair in the waiting room. I tried breaking free but no avail. "It's no use I used the whole roll of tape." A few more tries and I gave in. I knew I needed to calm down. "How long was I out?" I asked in a serious tone. "About 6 hours."Aphmau said. I kept my head down. "How's.......Katelyn?" I said in a deeper voice. "She's still in the ER." Laurence answered this time. A few more minutes of complete silence went by till a nurse came in. "You all must be Katelyn's friends. I have good ne-"

Third person PoV

Before the nurse could finish her sentence everyone could hear a giant tear echo in the room. Travis had ripped through a whole roll of duct tape. "Where is she!?!??" He stood in front of the nurse. She seemed a bit afraid. "Jeez Travis! Calm down let her finish her sentence!" Garroth yelled as surprised as everyone else at what he just did. "Katelyn is okay now but she is in a coma. She won't wake up for a few more weeks. We will allow one person to stay by her side and sleep here if anyone wants to." Travis interrupted once again. "Please can I???!?!?!?" Everyone scolded him but allowed him to be the one to stay by her side. He seemed the most worried. Everyone knew how much Travis loved Katelyn. "She is in room 314. You all may see her now. But visiting hours stop at 7:00." Travis was already off to the room everyone thanked the nurse and followed after him.

Katelyn's PoV

I was in a world of darkness. I couldn't see anything but a light. I walked towards it and it lead me to a beautiful endless field of flowers and trees. I started to hear voices. It was all my friends! "Travis you need to stop stressing out. The doctors said she would make a full recovery. You didn't need to try and break into the ER just to see if she was okay or rip through an entire roll of duct tape just to see her. You need to calm down. "I heard a manly voice say. It had to be Aaron. "I know I just couldn't hold back. I had to see her." Travis! I tried moving and opening my eyes but I couldn't. I could feel and hear everything but I couldn't see or speak. "Travis we all know you like her. You don't have to pretend to just be a close friend." Laurence said. "That's where you're wrong Laurence. I don't like her. I love her. When she kissed me at A-Con I completely melted. I wanted to feel her soft lips for the rest of my life but I just annoy her every time I try to get close. I shouldn't love her because she doesn't want me to and I just want her to be happy." Travis.... "It's okay Travis~kun. Katelyn~sama is strong. She can do anything. Kawaii~Chan is 100% positive. Her ship will survive!" I knew Travis had feelings for me but I didn't think they were that deep.

Time passed and Travis never left my side. It's been so long and I just want to see his face. I want to tell him I love him back. It just took me too long to understand my feelings.I'm so sorry. He never left my room. The nurses would bring him food and he would just stay in the chair by my side, his arms folded up on my bed and his head resting on them. He would even talk to me encouraging me to wake up so he could be happy again. Every day he would even tell me he loved me. I just wanted to get up and tackle him in a giant hug and kiss him again and again. I wanted to look into his emerald green eyes and feel comforted by his sweet words. After a very long time sitting in this lonely world inside my head. I started to levitate."What's going on?" I started to float towards the sky and was enveloped in light. I opened my eyes to see a hospital room. "I'm back." I whispered to myself. I looked to the left to see a window. It was very dark outside. I looked at the bedside table to see a small clock. "Ah shit it's 12:17!" I whisper yelled. I felt something move on my right arm. I looked to see emerald green eyes staring right back into mine. "K-Katelyn. Y-you're okay." I was so happy to finally see him. "Travis I'm so sorry for hurting you so much. I love you too." The next thing I knew I could feel Travis's lips on my. I couldn't help but melt by his touch. Our lips moved in sync. It felt perfect. The rest of the night we talked and cuddled and kissed. Don't get me wrong I still punched him every time he said a stupid pick up line but hey that's one reason why I love him so much. A few hours later a nurse walked in and saw me and Travis cuddling. She cooed at us and then she ran a few last tests and we filled out a few papers to let me leave. It only took about an hour to finish all the stuff. I got changed out of the hospital gown I was in and back into the clothes I was wearing. It was a tank top and some yoga pants. The day of the accident was pretty warm so I didn't put much on but today seemed pretty cold and we didn't have a car to drive home in so we walked. Thank Irene it's only a 40 minute walk.Travis must have noticed I was shivering and he gave me his big green sweater. It was so warm. Once we got to our street everyone was at Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan and I's house. I guess they were all waiting for me to come home. We all spent the rest of the day together and Travis and I announced our new relationship. Kawaii~Chan fainted and Zane helped her. Everyone was happy and that's all I could ask for for my friends-no not friends. Family.
