You felt an urge to leave Toriel and venture further out in the underground. You wanted to leave, for some strange reason.

But if you were going to leave.

The monsters should leave with you.

You were planning on asking Toriel if you could leave, but you didn't want to leave the poor lonely monster down in the RUINS, so you were going to ask if she could come with you.

You finished your pie and put the plate in the sink.

You walked over to Toriel while she was reading a book on her chair next to the fireplace.

The fire crackled and waved gently.

"My child, do you need something?" Toriel asked you, you suddenly felt guilty about asking.

'Welp, no turning back now'

"U-um, Toriel I was wondering i-if I could..." you trailed off, wondering wondering if this was such a good idea anymore.

"What was that child? I didn't hear you." Toriel said innocently.

"I-I want t-to leave th-the RUINS..."

Toriel sat there and stared at her book.

"My child, I know you are old enough to fend for yourself, but I really do not want another human fall into Asgore's wrath." She looked at you with sadness in her eyes.

"C-could you come with me?" You asked, you didn't want to leave her lonely.

"I'm sorry child, I cannot leave the RUINS, I am here for a reason and I'd rather not get seen by any monsters out there." She looked away again.

"Is it alright if you leave in the morning child? I can give you a slice or two of pie for the go?"

"That would be lovely mum." She looked at you and perked up slightly when you said 'mum.'

(or mom, where I come from its spelt mum, so imma write it how I always write it or I'll get confused, sorry for any inconvenience)

It took you a few seconds to realise your mistake and when you did you were apologising a lot.

"I'm soo sorry I didn't mean to say that it was just you remind me... so much... of.... A mother..." You trailed off, tears pricking at your eyes.

"Are you okay my child?" Toriel picked you up and sat you on her lap.

You began to cry, all of the pent up sadness flooding out of your eyes.

"What happened up at the surface that's making you cry my child?" She said, looking at you with concern and worry.

"M-my p-p-parents d-didn't l-l-like me very m-much." At this point, you were sobbing your eyes out.

Then, Toriel hugged you.

You weren't really expecting it, again, you never really got that much affection up at the surface.

"Shh, shh it's alright now, no one's going to hurt you here."

You got tired and felt a wave of drowsiness.

Before you knew it,

You were asleep in Toriel's arms.

When I got on Wattpad and saw that this has 200 views, I almost died! I know I probably said that in the last chapter but you guys are amazing! Thank you!

And sorry for a short chapter, I needed to write something for this book.

I've been writing my other book Alone so that's sorta why I haven't been updating this lately.

But this story is like 5 chapters in and we still haven't met Sans and Papyrus.

Hopefully they will apear in the next chapter!

And ignore the picture I just thought it was funny.

So ya, that's all!
