Moving Day

Ok so this is just a little background story of how you ended up where you are. Enjoy!

Moving day. One of the hardest days of many people's lives. To pack up and leave everything they've ever known and start life anew. They find themselves reflecting on all of the memories that they have made with their friends and family and almost regretting their decision to leave in the first place.
Well, that's how it was for (Y/N), anyway. Today was the day she would be leaving behind her support system to work in Seoul, South Korea. She was to be a (dream occupation) and she couldn't wait to go! Her only regret was leaving her whole family and all her friends. She would only be taking her pet (animal) named, (P/n). That was her only memory of her homeland. Of course, she would be taking along photographs of everyone, but it wouldn't be the same. She would truly miss (C/n) and everyone she had grown to know and love. But, she was also very excited to start this new adventure. She wondered about her life ahead and what, if anything, would change. She looked forward to the challenges she knew she would face.

(Y/N) made her last day the most memorable of all days she's spent in (C/n). She spent the whole day with her best friend, (B/f/n), her other friend,(F/n), and their two boyfriends (or girlfriends). (Y/N) was single, but it wasn't uncomfortable for her to hang out with them all together because they were all really good friends. They did everything together! They went to see a new movie, went to the mall, went to the fair that was in town, and, lastly, they went to see (Y/N)'s favorite kpop group of all time, (Group name besides Got7). It was a dream come true because they rarely ever go to her country and she got to see them up close and personal for the first time and even met her bias at the fan meet!!  She had had such an awesome day that she had almost forgot she was flying to Seoul at 11:30! When she got to her room to get the last of her things and pack them in the car at around 10, she said her good byes to her friends' boyfriends and set out to the airport. To keep from thinking about (Y/N)'s departure, they all jammed out to Kpop on the way, singing along as loud as they could, laughing their asses off at how terrible they sounded, but they didn't care! They didn't want to ruin the mood by being depressed when they had just had the best day of their lives! However...when they pulled into the airport parking lot, (B/f/n) couldn't help but shed a tear on her way out of the car, as she hooked her arm with (Y/N)'s left arm while (F/n) was on the right. They all skipped into the airport, not caring about the many scared and worried stares they received. When they made their way to the security line, they couldn't hold back their emotions any longer. The tears were rolling like when you look up the lyrics to Agust D's song The Last and you completely understand his feelings. They all group hugged and cried on each others shoulders. They would truly miss each other and the memories they all have shared down the years. Everything came flooding back to their minds as they held each other in their tight embrace. But, all things must come to an end. They had to let (Y/N) go and let her start her new journey. They slowly let go of each other and wiped their faces. "Keep in touch, ok?" (F/n) told (Y/N). "Of course I will!" (Y/N) said giving (F/n) a hug before turning to (B/f/n).  "Promise to call me every fucking day. If you don't, I swear I'll come to Seoul and murder you." (B/f/n) said. "Just pick up the goddamn phone when I call, bitch!" (Y/N) said, chuckling slightly and giving (B/f/n) one last hug and initiating their secret handshake (don't act like you and your bestie don't have one😂) before she went through security and waited to get on her flight.

As she was finally boarding her flight, (Y/N) put in her headphones  and started listening to Letting Go by Day6 (video at the top!). Even though it was a breakup song, it still reminded her of her friends and family that she was leaving behind, and she started to cry as the plane took off and she looked down below at (C/n), the country she will dearly miss. As she continued to stare beneath her, she drifted into a dreamless slumber.

(Y/N) was suddenly awoken by an announcement from the captain stating that they would land in Seoul in about 5 minutes. A rush of excitement ran up (Y/N)'s spine as she looked below to see the beautiful city of Seoul come into view. She couldn't wait to start this new venture! As she landed and dashed out of the plane to the streets of Seoul she was naive to just how much of a new venture she would experience.
