Confusion - Chapter 1

~Dean's P.O.V~

"Hello Dean." Said the familiar voice that I knew so well. I looked into her gorgeous eyes and looked her up and down. No wounds or injuries were visible to my eyes. Her smile was light and soft as if she was almost happy or relieved.

"Charlie." I breathed out. Her smile grew very slightly and I looked at her. "B-but how?" I asked as I took a step towards her, wanting to know if it was a dream or reality. She sighed.

"It's all in good time Dean." Charlie says. "You ready to get outta here?" She asked. I raised my eyebrow.

"As if I would want to stay here... of course I want to leave." I said and she smiled. She started walking and I realized this really wasn't a dream. "Hey uh Charlie?" I asked as we exited the room. I looked around and long narrow hallway. It was dark and small torches hung on the wall, lighting the way.

"Hmm?" She hummed as she kept her focus in front of her.

"Where are we? A-and why does Crowley want you?" I asked and Charlie stopped dead in her tracks. She spun around to look at me and fear clouded her brown eyes.

"Don't ever speak his name... ever." She spoke fearfully before she continued to walk forward.

"You never answered my first question." I said and she sighed.

"Well, it's not Hell if you really want to know." She huffed.

"Then where the hell are w-"

"Shh!" She smacked her hand over my mouth and pushed me to the wall. Her body smashed up against mine as I heard voices coming down the hall. We looked into each others eyes and I realized how much I truly missed her. She slowly took her hand off my mouth, getting lost in my eyes. I would be lying if I said I wasn't lost in her gaze as well. As the voices faded, we started walking again.

"I missed you Charlie." I breathed out and a smile smile spread across her lips.

"I missed you too, but now is not the time for lovey dovey crap. We have to get out." She said. Charlie wasn't acting herself. It was like she was a totally new person.

"When we get out, I'm going to do tests on you." I said straight up. If she was still human, she wouldn't even care. She grunted a little but kept walking. "How do you know about this stuff? And how did you know where I was?" I asked. She snorted a little.

"Stop with the questions Dean. I already told you, it's all in good time." She said. I frowned at her response, wondering why she was being so secretive. "Where's Sammy?" She asked, never looking back at me. I rubbed my eyes.

"Um... I'm not quite sure. All I remember was trying to find you, calling him, and waking up in this crap hole." I said and she shook her head.

"You boys are trouble." Charlie said. She put her finger to her mouth to signal me to hush and I did. She reached a large double door and grabbed two bobby pins picked the lock. She pushed the door open and it creaked loudly. She winced and grabbed my hand as she charged out of the door. I heard loud footsteps and voices follow us out.

"Get the girl!"

"No! Get the Winchester!" I heard voices behind us bickering on who to grab first. Charlie and I ran faster through the woods. Trees zoomed past us and sticks snapped under our feet. I liked the sound of the birds chirping and the wind howling. I didn't know how long I've been in that place but it felt like eternity.

"Castiel!" Charlie shouted. I shot her a confused look before Cas showed up and zapped our asses out of there. I shook my head as I realized I was in a motel. I turned around to see Charlie and Cas and I furrowed my brows. I took steps towards them angrily.

"I've been through hell looking for you Charlie. And Cas, you're a lying son of a bitch. I deserve answers and you're both gonna cough them up. Now." I demanded. Charlie gulped and looked at Cas for answers.
