I was at my locker when the gang walked up to me. "Vanny, you should join the cheer team!" She exclaims and claps her hands together.

"I'd like to see her in that uniform." I hear Zack mumble to himself,but obviously not quiet enough since I heard it. I snapped around and eye him.

"Okay listen here, Zachary, or whatever your name real name is, I know you have your dreams about us ending up together. But, if you keep making comments like that, your little fantasies will never come true." I snap, waving my hands in the air to make it more dramatic.

"So you are not denying that we won't ever be together?" He questions, smirking lightly. I eye him up and down

"I suggest you just shut it now before you make things worse!" I shout. He puts his hands up in defense. He brings his hands up to his lips as if to zip them.

"Shutting it." He smirks. I just roll my eyes and turn back to Kelly.

"Um, I don't know Kelly." I sigh, "I'm more of a volleyball and basketball person. Although I did cheer for three and a half years at my old school."

"Great!" She cheers. "Now you can cheer for us!" I sigh knowing I'm not going to win this argument. "Okay," I grumble,"I'm obviously going to be defeated here, so when are tryouts?" I question. She smiles as the rest of the girls cheer.

"After lunch." She replies ecstatically. I roll my eyes at her excitement. "Okay, you need to chill out before I change my mind." I back sass.

"Oh sassy. I like it babe." Slater snickers. I give him the 'do-you-really-wanna-go-there look' and he puts his hands up in surrender. I smirk lightly to myself and continue walking.

As soon as the bell rings Lisa grabs my hand and pulls me outside. I knit my brows together. "Lisa,uh, where are we going?" I ask. She smiles warmly at me.

"Only the coolest hangout in town!" She cheers, "The Max!" She smiles. I nod lightly and continue walking.

When we arrive at the hangout my mouth drops open. 'This place is so cool!" I thought to myself. We walk to a booth were everyone is seated.

"Vanny! Sit next to me!" I hear Zack call. "No Preppy, she wants to sit with me. Right mama?" Slater answers. "If you will all stop arguing you will see that Vanessa wants to sit with me." Screech pops out from behind the booth making me jump.

I gulp and turn to the girls. "I'll sit here." I say and sit in between Kelly and Jessie. "Jessie can you please move?" Zack asks, sweetly smiling at you.

"Um, guys listen." I start, causing them all to stare at me. "I know that I'm new here and I know that it's a lot to take in. But, sorry I'm really not looking for a relationship right now." I reply, but honestly every time I look or talk to Zack my stomach does flips and I get extreme butterflies.

I think I have a crush on Zachary Morris!

They just sigh and nod. But I could have swore I heard Zack mumble "She will be mine someday."

Soon enough a man came over to us. "Hey Max." They all greeted. He smiled. "Oh Max," Zack starts, "this is Vanessa. She's new here." Max looks at me and smiles. "Hello!" I wave. "You can call me Vanny." I smile brightly.

All of a sudden he magically pulls out a notepad. He looks at the gang. "The usual?" He asks and they all nod. "And another burger for the lady." Slater says.

Max walks away and everyone stares at me. "What?" I ask slightly giggling. "Tell us about yourself!" The girls exclaim. "Okay, okay."

I think of where to start. "Um I was born in New York. Which isn't really as magical as it sounds." They all lean forward. "Why did you move here?" Jessie asks eager to hear more. "Well I moved here because my dad got transferred here for work. Yeah that's pretty much it." I smile. They nod.
