Three weeks. Four months. That's how long it takes to prove King Ramos unfit to rule. Even now, with all this evidence against him, it still might not be enough.

Ancordia, who is supposed to be fighting for her claim to the throne, seems distracted and unmotivated, like she doesn't really want to be queen.

Daniel has been absent from Vamakia too long and went back home immediately after getting discharged from the hospital. He has princely duties to attend to and I say the same about the king and queen. But the one thing that bothers me is that little has been cleared up since my awakening.
There has been little to no time for relaxation and explanation.

Enroc's death was a sudden thing and when I was told about it, I felt no sadness instead, I felt anger. His death only made my hatred toward King Ramos stronger and if all other attempts to pluck him from his throne, fail, I will personally kill him myself.

Jessica and Ben have taken quite a liking to each other and Kate, well Kate now lives in Balmavia next to her all too well known noble fiancé, Ivaskan. The two of them knew each other for a very long time and the lad only recently proposed to her. Ivaskan is about seventeen years older than her, but is a pure blood and is part of one of the very strong bloodlines, so there really isn't much of a con in the union. Their wedding is set to be somewhere in Spring, when the blood roses first bloom.

Dear old Shane has kept himself sparse, but when you looked for him, you'd find him at the palace. For some reason unbeknownst to me, he is always there.

I haven't done much lately. My mother has made it her mission to get closer to me and what I get involved in, so now I have my own snoop following me around. Well, not literally, but she's always there. I guess I should be glad about that. I still have my mother, though I can't exactly say the same for my father.

Vladmir has made a few attempts at getting me immersed in werewolf culture and getting to know me. Sure, I should be grateful for finally learning about my heritage, but it's just not... it doesn't give me that feeling of, I don't know, satisfaction.
Vlad and I don't have that kind of blood related connection, the father- daughter kind of connection.
Oh well.

I still haven't gone to that statue Shane told me about. Well, in retrospect, I don't exactly know this city that well.

Four months: spent on staying inside the palace. Three weeks: spent on wandering around Balmavia.
I guess now would be the time to go look for it, since I really don't have anything to do.

The giant palace doors open up before me as they have done countless times before. The warm air of North Balmavia greets me as I step out into the street. There aren't a lot of people in sight. Perhaps it's due to the humidity. But vampires shouldn't be affected by it. Maybe it's just one of those days where people decide to just stay inside. I'm unsure.

As I continue on my way, I hear people whisper. They whisper about the king and the destruction and anarchy that will soon sweep across the kingdom. People can be so negative. Ancordia will make a great queen, I'm certain of that.

I soon reach the statue Shane mentioned. At the base lies a locked chest. I take the royal stone out of my pocket and insert it into the lock. The lock glows brightly and the chest bursts open after a brief clicking sound.

There, inside the cobweb infested chest lays an old ledger. Its cover seems quite old and I can just make out the words "Tome of Lineage." It's written in another language, one that I've recently started studying in the royal libraries.

Flipping through the pages I notice names of royal origin. The book holds record of all or most of the old royals and bloodlines, as well as the bloodlines and names of the most powerful families. King Ramos has to be mentioned in this book. I search through it more and find his name under T, for Tarque.
