hyejung turned off her phone and sighed. she changed out of her pajamas and replaced them with a pair of grey sweatpants. to top it all off, she put on her black adidas trefoil hoodie.

"am I really about to confess to my best friend" she whispered to herself.

hyejung and yoonoh were best friends. they acted like a couple, which they were always complimented on how cute they were and they never protested about them being a couple instead they always said thank you.

hyejung found herself falling for yoonoh when he first transferred to her middle school in their second year. they were in the same home room and their teacher made yoonoh sit next to her since there weren't any seats left. she remembers that day minute by minute. in fact, she remembers any day that she and yoonoh have shared.

she remembered how on the first day she met him she asked what his name was and he said "yoonoh-ibnida but you can call me jaehyun." she remembered how he said "you're the only person who calls me yoonoh, besides my family. and i think i only like it when you say it." she remembered how he started becoming friends with all her friends.

she remembered how she always caught herself staring at his facial features. she remembered when yoonoh told her about his crush on seoyeon and how she felt crushed afterwards. she remembered how on that day he said he liked seoyeon she went home cried so much.

hyejung and yoonoh were both currently in their third year of high school. through the years hyejung found herself consoling yoonoh after the many breakups he's had. every time she did, she remembers thinking "this wouldn't happen if you'd just be with me."

as she was lost in her thoughts, a knocking interrupted her. it was yoonoh, waiting to go on their adventure. since they both lived in the same apartment complex, but just on different floors, it didn't take him long to arrive at her home.

she opened the door to see him in the same outfit as her, except how his adidas hoodie was white. she smiled at the fact that they were wearing couple like clothing.

"i can't believe you copied my outfit hyejung!" he said with a laugh while putting his arm around her.

"excuse me! at least i look cuter!" hyejung exclaimed, smiling afterwards.

  "i'm offended hyejung, you always said i'm the cute one in our friendship." the arm he used to to put around her, he used it to put his hand on his heart looking actually offended, then he started pouting.

"okay first of all, honey you ain't cute. second of all, i have never said that you were cute. sorry boo. third, you're mean." hyejung explained.

"yah! how dare you say i'm not cute?! i am absolutely adorable."

"whatever you say babe" hyejung pulled his arm and put it around her neck.

they really did act like a couple, it was cute.

as they were entering the elevator, yoonoh's stomach started growling. hyejung pulled a mochi out of her hoodie pocket and handed it to yoonoh.

"thanks babe!" he was excited to get a free snack, and he kissed hyejung on the cheek.

they arrived at the entrance of their complex, it was a sorta windy night so hyejung shivered. yoonoh saw and hugged her.

"yo so like, what's our adventure?" he asked still hugging her.

"i already told where we're going when we texted!"

"okay true, but you know my memory isn't the best babe."

"ugh, so we'll let's go to an empty park and talk till it's really dark." she replied.

"it's already dark out pabo."

"just let me sound like this plan was really good!"

"whatever you say babe."

with that, yoonoh stopped hugging her and started to hold her hand. then they both started walking towards the nearest park.

hyejung started feeling nervous. she's never confessed to anyone. well confessed truthfully. sure, she's had a few relationships here and there. but whenever she said the words "i love you." she never meant it. she always felt bad but she just never felt the same way about that boy and didn't want leave him hanging.

hyejung truly loved yoonoh, she'd do anything for him. she knew she sounded crazy, but this boy meant so much to her and she just wanted to be his.
