It was the last day of summer. Before school started. Everyone was invited to Kelsey Smith's pool party. Strange, no one was really Kelsey's friend. Rose had always made sure to avoid Kelsey. She had problems according to some students, and according to her friends and even herself. Rose knew Kelsey had scars, but her emotional state was one of a brat, so Rose avoided her.
"Dude arn't you supposed to be at a party?" Rose's older brother, Max asked.
"Dude it's at Kelsey's house." Rose said.
"So? Wouldn't this be a chance to prove you're a rebel?"
Going to Kelsey's would be a risk.
"Yeah...OK....only because I doubt anyone would be there anyways." Rose put her dark hair in a braid, and removed her red headband. She looked in the mirror. Aquamarine eyes, the ones everyone would always say looked so pretty. They did, but Rose didn't need there opinion on that.
One day, they will regret doubting me.
