Rose loved to draw. Since she was 4, she was always drawing. From stick figures, to doodles, to scetches to painting. She always concentrated on her work, even when Max and Sal blasted there music and Kyle's fire truck wailed loudly. Today, she was scetching big bold letters that read: REBEL.
Rose had always been rebellious. She just never agreed with how things were done. She always stood outside of the crowd and she didn't care. While other girls made there doll princesses, hers saved the day. In middle school, when everyone was crushing on guys, she preferred drawing fictional characters. She always broke the rules. No one tried to stop her.
Rachel, Becky and Chad came over her house. Rose took them upstairs to her room.
"Rose.....that's a lot of drawings." Becky said. "It's not a bad thing....they're actually really good."
"Thanks," Rose said, holding a can.
"Yeah she's been drawing for quite some time." Max said by the doorway. Rachel and Chad nodded. They've been friends with Rose for a while so they knew.
"Becky, what do you do?" Rose said, spraying streaks of red into her hair.
"Well I'm a singer. Music is my life!" Becky beamed with pride, not at all stuck up.
"I write stories." Rachel told her. "And Chad does karate."
"That's so cool!" Becky said.
"Speaking of cool, who wants to hear my new song?!" Max exclaimed.
"No one!" Rose said.
"Our song!" Sal called out from his room.
"Get out!" Rose yelled.
