I arrived and turn the radio off and touched up my makeup and then put on my heels and ran inside Cassie's Coffee to meet Lucious.
"Good Morning" I said walking in the door.
"Wow, someone's perky." He joked giving me a hug.
"I guess so." I blushed and hugged back.
"Wow, you look... Just wow." He said.
"What's wrong is it too revealing?" I asked playing delusional.
"No!" He said quickly. "Just perfect."

"What do you mean?" I asked feeling genuinely concerned.
"Well, my Ex-wife went to jail for 17 years for drugs and by the time she got out I already had a new girlfriend. My Ex showed up at my club 2 weeks ago and she said she's been out for 2 weeks before. So my girl walks in and says she's the queen of Empire and we're married but we're not. I'm still in love with my Ex and the feeling is mutual with my Girlfriend." He explained.
"No?" I faked being concerned.
"Yea." He said sadly. "My life is fucked up."
I actually felt sorry for him and wanted to be there for him as his lover. And yes I know Cookie. She stole him away from me when I was the new student in 10th grade. That jealous ghetto bitch! She always has everything handed to her. My thoughts were quickly interrupted when I saw paparazzi rolling in the Cassie's running over to take pictures of me and Lucious.
"Oh shit." I heard Lucious whisper. "Come on."
He grabbed my hand and pushed past paparazzi out the doors and to the parking lot. Security ran quickly behind us he told me to get on his SUV and he'll buy me a better car a more expensive one. I was so thrilled. I think I could be fit for this lifestyle.

My name is Dominique Alicia McClain. I'm 45 years old and I'm from Philly. I grew up in the projects and lived in one of the most ghetto and dangerous neighborhoods in Philly. I had both of my parents with me but my mom died when I was 15 years old. God! It was the hardest thing ever so I turned to drugs and drinking and then prostitution. Yep, ya girl was hoe and I'm admitting it! Lol. I felt like I wasn't loved anymore so I looked for love in drug dealers, self-conceited men, and men who just wanted me for sex. I was never happy after my mother died until I met Lucious Lyon. We met in the 10th grade and West Philadelphia High. He and I were partners on a project so the more I got to know him the more I loved his personality. Everything was all good until he started taking interest in Cookie. I mean I'm average girl not the Ugliest person walking but not The Prettiest either. But what does she have that I don't? So, Lucious stopped talking to me less and less and then we just stopped talking. One day I had to stay after school for a overdue assignment and on the way out I saw Cookie pinned up against the wall with Lucious kissing her in the mouth. I felt so betrayed and hurt from that day on I hated Cookie's guts. Why did this have to happen to me? What did I do? I had straight A's, respectful student, teachers pet, overall genuine person. So after I moped, I got off my ass a made something of myself. I went to Florida State Unversity. (Go Noles! Comment of you like the Noles. Comment if you live in Florida or is from Florida.) I got my psychology degree and here I am. And when I saw Lucious at that club I had to take my opportunity. He was my hero and made me feel loved and I needed that again.
