This was for memes_love_poptarts Skyrim x Reader contest.

It was when he first laid eyes on you, that he fell in love. No one has ever taken his breath away like that. Never has he felt such a warmth fill him, a burning passion that consumed his insides. Never before had he seen anyone so...so beautiful. You were the very definition of beauty, and he wanted you for his own. He found impossible to look away from the beautiful creature who had just entered the college. You captivated him, and he could only watch as you passed by him and then out of his sight. It was slightly distressing how he could be so infatuated with someone he didn't even know the name of. He became desperate to find out who you were, he had to know who it was that captivated him so easily. He figured that you were new to the college and asked around for anything about you. Soon he learned your name, (your name). Oh how easily it rolled from his tongue, leaving such a smooth and sweet taste. How it suited you, a unique name that fit a person like you. You were the only one for him, the only one who suited him, and he would have you at his side for eternity. You would be his and his alone because he was the only one suited for you, no one else was worthy of you. You were like a goddess. He continued to watch you and fell even deeper.
You were intelligent and strong, your eyes were sharp and noticed even the smallest details. Everything you DoD made him crave for you even more.

You were aware of his eyes from the moment you stepped into Hall of Elements. His gaze was electrifying, golden eyes boring into your frame as you passed by. You looked at him from the corner of your eye when you made your way out of the hall. His golden skin seemed to glow in the mage-light of the hall. He was dangerous, you could tell, yet you felt drawn to him like a mouth to a flame. You knew who he was, had heard the stories, people talked about him. Ancano, an agent of the Thalmor, an advisor to the Arch-Mage and the arrogant, egotistical, power-hungry high elf. You heard the rumors, that he's a spy, he's not to be trusted, that he has some evil plan. You could plainly see that his alignment with the Thalmor has gained him distrust among the members of the college and was not well liked. To you it didn't matter that some of the rumors may be true, you couldn't help but think that there was more to him then what met the eye. You wanted to know everything there was to know, to get close to him. Even though you yearned to be closer to him you had no clue on how to approach him, he probably didn't know you even existed. However it would seem that luck is one your side, it was a month since your encounter with him, when Faralda pulled you to the side.
"There you are. I've been trying to find you. I just wanted to let you know that Ancano's been asking about you. I think he's looking for you."
"Why would Ancano be looking for me?" You questioned not truly believing her.
"I'm not sure. Just be careful." She said before hurrying off.
After she was out of sight you began to make you way to the Hall of Elements in hopes to find Ancano, and there he was, just standing in a corner observing. His eyes immediately fixed on you when you entered.
"You there." His voice sent a shiver down your spine. You watched as he approached, his eerie gem-like eyes shone with something unknown.
"I have been watching you for quite some time now." You were taken off guard by his words, and before you got your thoughts in order he spoke again. In that voice of his, that left you unable to focus.
"(Your/name) right." It was more a statement then a question, yet that didn't matter. All you could focus on was how he had spoken your name.
"Yes." You somehow managed to respond in a steady voice. And he smiled, it was small and fleeting yet it set your heart racing. He leaned in until is mouth was at your ear.
"Don't you know how much you tempt me."
His hot breath on your ear sent another shiver down your spine, and your blood rushed to your face. You struggled to form a response as you tried to grasp what had just happened. You normally controlled your emotions quite well, yet he was able to draw out such foreign feelings. You heard him chuckled as he straightened, a smirk present on his face.
"You interest me, would you care to spend some time together?" He held out a hand to you. You finally got a hold of yourself and your emotions.
"I wouldn't mind at all." You said, placing your hand in his. That was the start of your relationship, you became closer. you spent everyday with him, sometimes you would talk, other times you would read, and a few times he helped you with magic. It didn't really matter what you were doing, you just enjoyed each other's company. Time passed quickly and before you knew it you had fallen even deeper in love with him. You learned that although he may act like he doesn't care, he does.  He's not as nearly as cold as he seemed. You began to understand him, and learned how to read his reactions and emotions. You looked forward to each day with him, he was your escape and for the first time in a long while you were truly happy. When you were with him all your worries melted away, and you were able to forgot about your darkness.  For a short time you were no longer haunted by your past. Yet, even if you felt safe and happy during the day the night still came for you with dark and twisted nightmares. As your nightmares increased you began to lose even more sleep, and the bags under your eyes darkened with each passing day. It was unhealthy to live like this but you couldn't find the courage to seek out help.  Things only got worse when your past that you had tried to escape from finally caught up with you. You were surrounded by bandits, someone from your past wanted you dead and they did a Damon good job to ensure it. You were surrounded, even though you were a skilled fighter you eventually began to falter. You had killed most of the group and you were exasperated, only three remained. You watched them carefully, and when two of them attacked, you were able to respond. You were so focused on the two attackers that you forgot about the third. It was as soon as you dispatched of the two, that you felt a stabbing pain in your gut. You were stabbed from behind, when the bandit pulled back his sword you collapsed. You were already weak for the lack of sleep, and were losing blood fast, black spots quickly filled your vision. You briefly saw the bandit get thrown back by a shock spell.
