My Ex Best Friend is my Bully

Ch. 1

    "Alex, time to wake up!" My mom yells fro downstairs.

    "I'm up!" I yell back I don't take much time getting ready, cause I don't wear makeup, so that saves about 20 min getting ready in the morning.

    so today is the first day of school and I have one friend that doesn't go to my school. I really wish she did it would make my life way better, but unfortunately she lives across the world.

    when I get downstairs the first thing I see is a lot of food that looks really good, but I can't eat it. Before my parents make me sit down and eat I yell bye and start walking to school. School is about a mile away,so I get to school early everyday so I don't run into him.

    when I get to school I thought it was going to be like every other day, boy was I wrong, when I get to my locker i get shoved into my locker by the one and only Josh. I don't know what I did to him to make him start bullying me. We used to be best friends, then suddenly he starts ignoring me and pushing me around.

    "watch out, loser!!" He spits at me when he walks away. Even though he hurts me so much I still care about him. I just wish he still cared about me.

    I start heading to my class, which is on the opposite side of the building, I accidentally run into Josh. Instead of pushing me like he would usually do he just says "watch where you're going" That's so unlike him, but I'm not complaining I like him this way.

    I get to my first class which is band. When I get there I go straight to my normal seat, in the back corner, unlike every other time wear no one sits by me someone actually sat by me. I look up to see who it is, but I don't recognize him so he must be new.

    "Hi, I'm Damon" he says extending his hand to me.

    "Alex" I say in a whisper, ignoring his hand.

    "why aren't you sitting with everyone else?" He asks, staring at me.

    "cause I don't want to." I say back not looking at him.

    The bell rings before he can say anything else.

I'm half way to my next class when Damon comes behind me and starts walking with me.

"why are you following me?" I ask quietly

"cause I want to ask you something" he replies back. I give him a look that say ask.

"did you wanna hang out after school?" He asks and I stop in the middle f the hallway surprised.

"you want to hang out with me?" I ask confused. Ever since me and josh became "enemy's" all of my friends ditched me, so when someone wants to hang out with me that doesn't happen regularly.

"ya, why do you look so shocked?"

before I can say anything Josh starts walking towards me and pushes me to the ground. "Stay down, Bitch. No one wants you here!"

Damon offers me his hand but I refuse and run to the bathroom. I can hear Damon yelling my name chasing after me. When I get off the bathroom no ones there and I'm grateful because I don't want more people calling me names.

"Alex, please come out and talk to me."

"just go to class Damon!" I yell at him

"I'm not going to leave you like this, please talk to me."

"you barely know me why do you care?" I yell at him, no answer maybe he went to class. I turn around and he's standing there.

"you can't be in...."

"you're beautiful, and no one has beautiful as you should me treated that way."

he engulfs me in a hug and I full on sob into his shirt.

"thank you" I whisper

"you're welcome"
