After Feliciano was dragged off the court room with tears dripping down his cheeks and shouting about being the victim, Ludwig and Kiku stood there in shock.

After the whole court turned silent by the pounding sound of the judge's gravel, the security escorted Kiku and Ludwig out the room along with Feliciano's family.

Kiku and Ludwig waited outside with the remaining family members as they waited for Feliciano's parents to sign some papers.

Kiku felt pity when he saw Feliciano's father close to tears following the lawyer with his wife sobbing in his arms.

The halls were filled with lawyers and the DA shuffling around with their briefcase in one hand and handfuls of papers and folders in the
other.

"I can't believe Feliciano would do something like that." Someone whispered.

"I can't believe it either...I would never thought Feliciano was the type..." Another voice was heard.

"Feliciano didn't do it! I'm sure of it." Then another

"That's right...he's innocent!" And another.

"But...all the evidence points to him..." More and more people were talking.

"Yeah...not all good people turns out good." He heard a few murmuring in agreement.

"But it's Feliciano! He would never-" the voice was cut off my an exasperated sigh, while the others agree to it as well.

"This...can't be." Kiku head snaps back up when he hears Ludwig whispered harshly besides him, he looks over to his German friend and places his hand on his shoulder in a attempt to comfort him but he was surprise to see his face red and his teeth clenching in anger.

Kiku knew ludwig was angry at himself for not taking the case because he felt giving the case to a more 'experienced' lawyer was a better choice than someone like Ludwig who was fresh out of law school.

"Alright everyone settle down." Feliciano's parents came back with grim expressions, their eyes lifeless and empty with no light into them. Even the wife stopped crying but her eyes were puffy.

"Let's go..." His voice was distant, everyone knew the father worse fear turned to reality as soon as he was done signing the papers.

They all stood quite and followed the parents down the halls to leave.

When they left the front door of the building they were greeted by flashes of cameras, and microphones shoved to their faces. Though the microphones were mostly shoved to Feliciano's parents mumbling 'no comment' when they were asked question by questions about their now convicted son. They all tried to break through the crowd to the cat that was waiting for them but the journalist were persistent.

Only Kiku and Ludwig stayed behind and thanked the heavens that those persistent journalist didn't come after them.

Feliciano's lawyer came to them after he left the parents and the family to their cars and watched them leave."Has Lovino been informed about Feliciano?" He asked dully.

"We tried to contact him but I know he is avoiding us." Ludwig pulled out his phone."It ranged once and it sent me straight to voicemail." He puts the phone back in his pocket.

The man nodded and bid himself goodbye and left them like that.

Kiku sighs sadly and looked away from the crowd."Feliciano..." He whispered sadly to himself.

Ludwig on the other hand felt his face harden and held his head high."I'm not giving up."

"Eh?" Confusion was written on his face."I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that."

"I said I'm not giving up." Ludwig said louder, his shoulders is shaking."I'm going to take this case on my hands, I'm not going to rest until I can prove Feliciano is innocent and bring him back to us." Ludwig stared back at Kiku with fire in his ocean blue eyes.

Kiku gasped and raised his voice...something he haven't done since forever."Ludwig, you can't do that!" He shouted.

Ludwig stood his ground."Why not? Feliciano was the one who brought us together, don't you care about him at all?"

Kiku calmed down when he said that, his eyes turned sad and adverted Ludwig intense gaze."I do..." He whispered."But your risking your life for a case that's already been closed."

Ludwig was started to get frustrated about the situation."I know but-" he tried to reason.

"Your a lawyer not a detective." Kiku cuts him off.

"But I want-"

"Ludwig." Kiku voice turned cold and stern. Ludwig knew his plan was futile but he still wasn't giving up on his friend.

The person who cared about him and was there for him since as children. He knew he was framed, but with no clear evidence of proof he was at a dead end.

They stood there in silence, the sunny day that they saw before entering the court house became dark and grey. "In prison," Ludwig spoke again."Younger men are always the first to be used as substitute for women." His eyes sadden."I'm worried about him, what he will do in a place full of people who have no remorse to kill, to use him like they would use a women." Ludwig didn't need to continued.

"That's why I have to help..." He looks down."To protect him like I promised I will." He whispered.

Kiku was on the verge of tears but he kept on with the facade, he was scared for his friend. He was scared and he felt so useless for not doing anything to help.

But he had hope inside on him, so that's why even thought in the end it will be a waste of time. He knew that...that's why he still not giving it up.

"I'll help too." Kiku declared."I want to save Feliciano and bring him back to us." He vowed to himself that he'll help in anyway he can.

Kiku grabs hold of Ludwig's hand and uses his pinky to latch onto his."For Feliciano." He said.

Ludwig was surprised to see him so bold and determined, but he knew he was only doing this for him. So he will do the same, stay determined."Ja! For Feliciano."
