Another boring day... another boring school day... I don't know how everybody else gets through it without even complaining! I mean seriously!!! It's boring and there is no point in it! Life... now life... we use half of it up going to school for what? To get a job? For what? To get money? For what? Bills? For what? Government! The chain goes on and on and then it stops!!! When you die you lose EVERYTHING! So my point is... why do we have to go to school?!

"Kim! stop day dreaming we're going to be late!!!" I put my hair brush down and ran downstairs to meet Jessie before she'd been having another spaz attack just like last time I started day dreaming before school.

"Calm down"

"Quick!!!" she basically ripped the door of its hinges and slammed it after me.

"Why are you so worked up about being late we've got like five minutes to get there!"

"Five... Minutes!?" Her eyes flew out of there sockets. She grabbed my hand nearly pulling my arm off and broke into a sprint.

"OW! JESS!!!! LET GO!!!!!" I would of thought she hadn't heard me since she tightened her grip. We got to school just as the care taker started unlocking the gates.

"How do i look?" She asked stroking her hair.

"Like a psycho" She slapped my arm and I took my mirror out from my coat.

"I can always count on you to be equipped can't I"

"I guess so... but I don't get why you're so worked up Daren likes you... even if you are a crazy psycho that tried to rip my arm off!" Daren was the quarterback of the American football team school team i mean this is england but its American football . Prom was on friday and there was a rumour going around that he was going to ask her. She was about to tell me something when Jake our other friend rushed over.

"Hey girls! we still on for friday?" Jake and Jessie were coming round so we could go to prom in a limo.

"Yep, just bring the usual stuff i have the air beds ready" He nodded then suddenly pulled me closer.

"Who's that?" he asked hastily looking at a guy with deep blue eyes and bright blonde hair.

"Sam I think he's in my tech" Jake just kept staring at me "I don't know if he's straight or not"

"Well find out!"

"No"

"Why not?"

"Because it’s embarrassing"

"How?"

"Oh hey Sam I was just wondering if you're bent 'cause you know..." I mimicked what I'd say Jake looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Why can't Jess do it?"

"I don't know" Right then Daren ran over putting an arm around Jess.

"Hey babe... you me the dance?" she nodded speechless "Cool pick you up at eight" he ran back to his friends and grabbed Sam by the arm taking him along with them.
