It's finally been 1 week since training ended and we get to chose what we will be doing till we die. I all ready know what I'm going to do. we were all standing in front of the stage when Commander Erwin Smith and he began his speech                                                                                     

"I am Erwin Smith Commander of the Scout Regiment today you must choose a corps to join I'm here to invite you to join the Scout Regiment. During this latest Titan attack you have discovered the terror of titans and the limitations of your own abilities. however in this battle, more then ever before we made progress towards victory thanks to the existence of Eren Jaeger, his all-out proves beyond any doubt that he is on our side, furthermore with his help we not only stopped the titans invasion we gained a means to understand the true nature of titans located in the basement of his home in Shiganshina District we believe there is a secret to titans that even he is unaware of if we can reach that basement we may gain a clue to break free from a century of Titans dominations we set out for the basement located in Shiganshina District  but in order  to do so it is imperative that we retake Wall Maria That is to say our objective remains unchanged" Two people then came out and held up a map "But now that we are unable to use the gate in the Trost District we must take a roundabout route from Karaness District to the east The route we spent 4 years building for our army has become completely useless during those four years more then 60 percent of the Scout Regiment died sixty percent in four years an insane casualty rate this group of new recruits will join us on our expedition outside of the wall one month from now the chance are 30 present that you will die four years from now the majority of you will be dead but those who overcome that  will become superior with a high survival rate  you now know the dismal state of affairs  those of you who are willing to put your life on the lines remain here ask yourself am I willing to give my heart for humankind that is al I have to say those of you who are join another corps are dismissed" He finished and most people began walking off only few people stayed like Armin Miskasa Jean Connie Sasha Krista Ymir  and a few people I don't care about "You people If someone tells you to die would you do it" He asked us someone then yelled out  I don't want to die Erwin just smiled "  I see I like that look on your face I welcome you to the Scout Regiment  This is a real salute give your hearts" He yelled then did the salute we all followed him and did the same and yelled "Yes sir" he walked off the stage and we walked off to our cabins for our last night here once we got to our cabin Sasha broke down in tears I simply walked to my bed and layed down to thought 'This is it I'm finally going to see my brother after 8 years' I thought to myself I slowly feel into a deep sleep thinking about my brothers and me together again 'I cant wait' Was my last thought before a fell asleep
