Ok guys today I want to talk about a serious problem all over the world. Now I know that this isn't the usual type of thing I would post, but I was nominated by farthhamburgers to share a #pleasestopbullying story. So hope you guys will stick with me and stop this problem.
One school day I was getting on the bus to go home and it had been a pretty nice day. Now on my bus we had assigned seats, so we had to sit in one seat by one person the whole year. I wasn't really that bothered by it because for half the year I got to sit by a really nice girl who was a grade older than me, but we became good friends quite quickly. And I was completely fine with this until one day they made everyone on the bus switch bus buddies.
Here is where the real story begins. I got paired with a fifth grader named Ethan who wasn't really the nicest, but me being a little first grader wasn't really one to judge.
You may not know this about me, but I talk a lot. Like, a whole lot. Most people weren't really bothered by it because if you asked me nicely to be quite I would.
Anyway everyday I would get on the bus and talk to this boy and he never told me to be quite ever. And at the time I didn't really think he was bothered by me. But looking back what fifth grade boy would want to be bus buddies with a first grader? And since this boy never told me to be quite ever he got pretty mad one day. So out of nowhere he tells me that if I was to say another word he was gonna punch me. Luckily we were on my street when he said it so I didn't have to sit there long.
Most people would have told the bus driver once they were getting off, but since he told me that if I said another word he would punch me I didn't say anything else. So I got off the bus and walked in my house and burst into tears. My mom asked me what was wrong so I told her.
Lucky for me my bus driver would come by twice. Once for the elementary kids and once for the middle an high school kids. So we went out and stopped the bus. Also my bus driver was like super nice and would give you a sucker if you behaved on the bus. So we told her what happened and she said that the boy would be moved and she would write him up to the principal. So the next day I got called down to the principal's office (my principal was also super nice) to explain what happened. I told the him and bam everything was worked out.
So at the end of the day I loaded the bus and the boy went to sit down in his normal spot, but was stopped and told in front of the whole bus of people that he had been moved. I was very happy that it was all over.
So that was my experience with bullying. I hope that none of you have ever dealt with bullying, but if you have you know that it is a very tough problem a whole lot of people face all over the world. #pleasestopbullying.
