"Moon Rising"

The humming of waves reached your ears in moment when you buried your toes in cold sand. As you started walking towards sapphire water, sough got louder.

When you stood near shore and cold waves started laving your bare feet, you slowly lifted your gaze. The moon was rising.

Sea breeze almost made you shiver. It was getting colder. Cool temperature didn't bother you...the reason you came to the beach was the color of sea. Its color reminded you of cobaltic eyes of your Meister. Your partner's vigilant gaze was the best thing about him. WAS...

You needed to blink few times to get rid of burning tears in corners of eyes. Your Meister, (Meister's name) was dead...and it was a year ago. Today was anniversary of his death. It was really hard for you to get through all those months without him. He was the first person you trusted...

No, actually there was another soul who you opened up to.

A ghost of smile appeared upon your lips when you remembered all those short but memorable moments with that person. He was always there for you even if he didn't show it. He helped you realized that you're not alone.

You stepped slowly into frigid water. You needed an excuse to think about something other than this sharp pain in your chest.

- Are you planning to freeze your feet? - You heard a familiar voice. It belonged to one of your friends. It belonged also to your Guardian.

You turned around and held your breath because of frequent feeling that was always paralyzing you when he was facing you. There we go...You couldn't feel anything. Even icy pain in your feet didn't matter anymore.

Moonlight was perfectly illuminating his face and matching with his golden eyes. His iris were sparkling beautifully. The more of his gaze you were watching, the less air you had in your lungs. You needed to put yourself together!

You shook your head slightly, so it looked like you answered his question.

- You really don't need to worry that much about me...Kid. - You turned your head again to look up at the moon. It moved slightly behind one ashen cloud and then you realized it's full.

- We both know I can't... - He replied and it sounded like he's about to say something more. Instead of finishing sentence, Kid stepped closer to you but not so close or else he would soak his shoes and trousers. He grasped you quickly by shoulders and moved you a bit into his direction and a little right. Death ran his fingers through your hair and slid his thumb upon your lips. Your heart stopped beating for a while...

The warmth of his hands on your body, on your face was making you shiver. You hoped that he thought you're feeling cold.

Kid took a few steps back and poked his cheek. He smiled lightly.

- There...Perfect symmetry. You're matching very well with this full moon. Don't ruin that, (Name). - You blinked and tried to get out of shock you were in. For a while you thought you saw a smirk upon his lips.

- Don't stay here too long though or you'll get sick. - He said, pulling out Beezlebub. Dark haired boy stood on it and before he left, you heard - Goodnight, (Name). - And with that he flew away.

Your mouth was ajar. Even when you turned somewhat to peek at the moon, your heart was racing like crazy.

Did Death the Kid just called you...symmetrical?
