The Silent Tears I Cry

Chapter 7

''Alpha.'' One of my pack member called. ''Something wrong with Lauralie. She won't stop bleeding.''

I snap out of my day dreaming. I ran to where Lauralie had been laying for 4 days. 

What I saw wasn't pleasant. Horror rushed through me. No, no. It can't be happening. Not my baby. God please save her. I thought. Please. 

Before I went into the room, I  took a deep breath. I push the door opened to find Lauralie bleeding in her stomach. I ran to her side to find a razor with blood in it. I smelled it to find if there was any left behind scent behind it and put it in my back pocket. In her stomach, there was writing in it but with her blood. It says:

''She will be a goner soon.'' 

I punched the wall with anger.

''I want that person killed.'' My wolf said.

''Me to, but we have to find out who that person is.'' I replied back.

I went over by the counter and took a white T-shirt. I ripped it and tied it around her stomach. The bleeding soaked through. I untied it and went to get the first-aid kit. I started cleaning the bruise and sprayed it. I then took the other clean piece of the rip T-shirt and tied it around her stomach again.

I walked out the room sighing. I ran my hand through my hair.

''Damien.'' My sister, Grace, called.

''What?'' I replied back.

''You need to rest. You have been searching none stop.'' She said.

I growled at her. ''She's my mate and she's in danger and you want me to stop searching.'' I saw her flinched and my face facial became soft. ''Sorry.'' I murmured.

''It's okay. But come on, you haven't slepted for 4 days. A little rest wouldn't hurt.'' 

''There's no time for rest when there's a killer out there harming my mate and there's a chance he might go after my pack.''

With my last say, I decided to go back to the pack doctor. When I went in, Lauralie heart beat was beating so fast. 

''Why is her heart beat beating so fast.'' I growled at the pack Doctor.

''We don't know Alpha.'' He started. ''But I am trying my best to find out.''

''What happened?'' I asked. Seeing her laying in the bed all dead and lifeless broke my heart. What if I loose her? What if she won't make it? All these questions are running through my head.

 ''I saw a shadow came into this room and out. I couldn't see who that person was. But then I saw a note by Lauralie.'' He stopped.

''Could I see the note please?'' I asked.

He walked out the room and came back with a white piece of paper. He then handed it to me. I looked down and started reading what that person wrote. It says:

''If it wasn't for Doc. Your precious princess wouldn't be here by now. Beware. You will be mate-less. Sooner or later. But why not make it now.

-----Turn around. She's turning purple.

I turned around and quickly ran by her side. There was a rope tied around her neck. I growled various. My wolf took control and ripped the rope off her neck. I switch back and decided to worry about putting shorts on later. I put 2 fingers on her pulse, and saw that she is starting to breath. 

I let a sigh that I didn't know I was holding. But I was confuse. 

I started touching her neck where the rope lefted a bruise. My wolfed growled. 

''Why isn't she waking up?'' I asked in confusion.

''I think because of the concussion she had that she won't wake up sometime now.''

 I punched the wall out of anger. Why is my mate always the one to be in danger. Which pisses me off even more since I wasn't there to prevent them from happening. I'm such a terrible mate.

Lauralie please wake up or I won't be able to live no more.

I left the room eager to find that person who came to my pack territory, and who touched my Lauralie.

My wolf growled dangerously inside me. Wanting to get out to hunt that person.

''I need all of my best fighters' now!''  I commanded through the pack link.

I was in the living room waiting for the to come. In less than a few minutes. 15 of my best fighters came inside the room.

''Is everything alright Alpha?'' 

''What's the matter?''

''Do you need something?''

''What can I do for you Alpha.''

All of them was asking questions.

''SILENCE.'' I yelled. Everyone in the room had quiet down.

''Okay. I called you all here because we have a killer in our territory.'' I started. ''And they seem to be after Lauralie. I need you all to start searching around and inform me if you find anything untypical.'' I duged into my back pocket and handed one of them the razor. ''This razor was used on Lauralie.'' I took out the letter also. ''And somehow that person seemed to had find a way to snuck into the pack doctor and left this.'' 

Everyone in the room had a shocked face. Some of them had gasped. 

''Do you know anything about Luna past?'' One of them asked.

Thinking of it. I didn't know anything about her past. Wow. 

''No. But I did noticed bruises on her when she walked into the classroom the first day of school. I was furious but I didn't want to start getting into her personal life yet.''

''Did you know who she was living with before she came here?'' Another one asked.

''Yes. She told me she was living with her father, and that her mother died cause a Rogue killed her.'' 

Shit. Why didn't I realize this yet. Bruises, sad, pain, father, mother died, father drunk, she thinks she shouldn't live anymore. I growled.

''I want each one of you to go to her house and have a talk with her father. If he is drunk, bring him here.'' I said

''Why?''

''I think he was the one abusing Laura. And I think he might be the one who knows who is trying to kill Lauralie.''
