The Apocalypse

A/N: hey so I have high hopes for this book!! I'm gonna try my best to update and finish this book! But I'm gonna warn you from the start that it's my first year of high school so don't be excepting me to update as often as I should. Anyways comment and vote tell me what ya think! :) oh and this started out as an English assignment but I wanted to change it into a book.

The apocalypse

This was it, the end. The world was crashing down around us. Buildings crumbled to the ground like a pile of rubbish, and streets destroyed, looking like the ground fell from underneath them. The buildings still standing were long gone, like the life that used to exist in the atmosphere. I wonder how this even happened, or how some of us even survived it. This is insane; it seems like just a day ago I was cuddle up to my boyfriend watching a movie and having a great time. Now I'm hiding somewhere deep in a cave, making murderous tools to help me survive through these savage times. Why am I still going at this, there's nothing left to fight for, yet maybe there is. Maybe he's still somewhere out there; all I can do is pray that he is. God, I have to focus on survival. The the only way I'm going to survive is to keep focusing on one thing, and that is survival.
