Complicated Love

Halloween

A/N:Hey guys I know I promised that I would write but as usual I didn't fulfill that promise XD. A lot of people have sorta stopped checking since I never write but I really am trying. If you come up with any cool ideas for future chapters post it on my wall. I had really bad writers block between the couple of chapters that I wrote so I had assumed that I would just jump right to christmas, but now I got an idea for Halloween. So just pretend that this took place before the last chapter and none of that has happened yet. Sorry for the inconvenience.

   I was so excited! Tomorrow was the first major party that I'm going to this year since I moved here. I was never a big party person but Los Angeles changed me. Sophie being the fashionista she is, insisted that her, Kaylie and I all get ready for the Halloween party together. Then we were all going to go the party with the rest of the guys. The party was at Lexi's  so I wasn't particularly looking forward to it.

   When I walked into school I found Luke. "Well it looks like someones in a good mood." he said. "Yeah! I can't wait for the party tomorrow!" I half squealed! School seemed to pass by excruciatingly slow! When school was FINALLY out I almost ran home. I met Sam on the way back and decided to stop and talk to him. We were talking about costume ideas.

  "Yeah I think this year I'm gonna dress up as a cop and wear a mustache and everything." he said in a totally serious tone and I couldn't help but laugh hysterically. He looked at me and was like "It's not funny Emma" trying to keep a strait face and not laugh his butt off but he failed and joined me in my laughter. That night I couldn't sleep for like hours cause I was so excited for tomorrow. Luckily tomorrow was Saturday so I could sleep in.

    I expected to sleep in and wake up later but no, I wake up with Sophie pulling the covers off me and telling me to get my lazy butt up and out of bed. After that we left to go and get Kaylie out of bed She was definetly more stubborn than I was. She almost threw a really big book at us but decided against it. I was very thankful. But she was really crabby until we promised to get her a donut from dunkin' donuts.

   We eventually all made it back to my house and started the process of getting ready. Sophie was going as a beautiful fairy. She curled her beautiful blond hair and pinned back the front pieces of her hair. Then added a flower crown. She had sparkly glitter to go on her face to help compliment her costume. She had a purple tank top with a blue and pink tule skirt. There were tiny yellowish wings to complete the outfit. She looked absolutely stunning.

   Then it came time for Kaylie and I to finish getting ready. We decided to coordinate costumes this year. I was going dressed as little red riding hood . I put on pretty basic makeup then added bright red lipstick to finish my makeup. I had a simple white blouse on underneath my black tank top like shirt with white strings to tighten and loosen the top. Then there was a red skirt with red poof underneath that went just above my knees. I curled my hair, put on the signature red cape, put on my black heels and brought my basket just for show, but figured that I would probably end up leaving it in the car.

    Then Kaylie came downstairs in her big bad wolf costume but it wasn't like and ugly one it was actually really pretty. She had a plaid red tank top on, the put on her wolf ears, and her skirt that looked like wolf fur, that also went down to about her knees. Then to top off the outfit she put on cuffs and black heels. She also put in some loose curls to go with the outfit. Since we were all done and ready we decided it was time to go meet the boys downstairs.

  Downstairs waiting for us were Luke, Jake, Sam and Ben. I was really hesitant to invite Ben because he really likes to be a pain in my butt sometimes. But Sam insisted so I unfortunetly gave in. Jake was dressed up as a wolf in a more masculine way so he could have a couples costume with Kaylie, but also allow her and I to have a coordinated costume. They looked adorable together. Ben was dressed up as Wolverine. He tried to be as tough and cool as he could, which I thought was hilarious. Then I saw Luke. He looked absolutely amazing! It took a lot for me not to go run to him and hug him. He dressed up as a lumberjack. I died when I saw him.

   As I approached him I started getting nervous and my heart sped up by like 5 times. He looked GORGEOUS. He smiled at me when I got closer. My heart skipped a beat when that happened. "Hey you look really nice." He said and I blushed. "Thanks, you look nice too. So what are you dressed as?" I asked cause he looked a lot like the huntsman from Little Red Riding Hood. I got really scared because if that was so it would look like we went as a couple. Not that I would mind looking like I'm his girlfriend. "Oh I'm supposed to be a lumberjack." He said with a little smile on his face. "But I look more like the huntsman from Little Red Riding Hood." He said while laughing a little to lighten the aquird mood. I laughed a little but it was more of a nervous giggle. I was so embarrassed for that. "Hey if it's okay with you, can I say that I'm the huntsman from little red riding hood?"

"No I don't mind at all." I said a little to quickly but he didn't seem to notice. "Okay kids line up, I want a group picture." My mom said. Of course she wanted photos for everything and so she could put it on Facebook. Parents and their Facebook. I thought while laughing to myself. We all lined up. Sophie was standing next to Sam and he wrapped his arm around her. He glanced down at her to make sure that it was okay. When he did she just looked up and smiled back at her. I was standing with Luke and we smiled at each other, cause our best friends seemed in love. He put his arm also around me and I did the same thing. Then Kaylie and Jake stood together and Jake put his arm around Kaylie's waist. They finally finished taking the pictures and so we all hopped in the van and headed to the party.

30 minutes later

We finally arrived at Lexi's house. There was a huge number of people there. When we entered everyone was dressed up in costumes. Some were really cool and pretty, then there were the ones that didn't cover enough... We all met up with Lexi. She looked stunning. She was dressed up as Wendy from Peter Pan. She wore a blue nightgown, had here hair curled and had a blue bow that tied her front pieces of her hair back, and had really pretty natural makeup. The party was a blast. When we got there we saw Lexi standing with a guy. We were all wondering who this guy was. He had tan skin, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. When we talked to Lexi she introduced us to him. His name is Jackson, he is apparently her new boyfriend.

At this point most people had left but we were invited to stay later along with everyone else from our table at lunch. It was only 9:00 and the party started early so our parents were fine with it. We all sat down in a circle. I was next to Sam and Luke. Once everyone was seated, we were all just sitting there in an aquird silence. The Ben said "Hey how about we play spin the bottle." Everyone seemed cool with it so we started. Since Ben came up with idea, he got to spin first. Once the bottle stopped on Anna. Ben looked really excited. "Okay, I dare you to go sit on Danny's lap." He said as he looked quite proud. "Ben have you forgotten hat we're dating? So it's no big deal." Anna said non-chalauntly. Then she spun the bottle and it landed on Sam. Anna dared him to kiss Sophie's cheek. She blushed like crazy, and Luke did the cat call. The game continued. Nothing too interesting happened. I got dared to hold Luke's hand for the rest of the game. We all decided we wanted to do something different, so we all decided that we would just sit down and rent a movie from Amazon for a little, then we were gonna head out. When we were getting situated for the movie, I realized that Luke and I were still holding hands, not that I'm complaining or anything. We all were either sitting on the sofas or the ground. I sat on the couch with Luke, and there was one spot left and Ben came and took it. We watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Pretty much everyone loved Harry Potter so everyone was cool with it.

      We had all said goodbye and all now hopped into the car and headed home. Sophie and Kaylie were sleeping over with me, and Luke was sleeping over with Sam, so we had to drop off Ben and Jake cause they couldn't sleep over. When we all got inside we changed out of our costumes and got into our pjs. Sophie, Kaylie and I gossiped for a little then I turned out the lights and closed my eyes, dreaming about dark brown haired guy with beautiful green blue eyes.

I really am trying to update more often but I just have a busy schedule and LOTS of writers block. Since I'm still on summer break I have more time to write. I hope you enjoyed the chapter! 💕
