Annabeth's POV
"Why!......JUST WHY!......" I screamed as she walked around her room.Why did...did......THIS happen to me!,I thought.I laid on her bed,crying.I cried herself to sleep,Knowing that THIS is the worst thing that happened to her in her life.
~~Next Morning~~
I woke up,with dread still in me.I was most likely the schools latest gossip.Luke was evreything in her life...... Besides dad,and Camp Half Blood.(Not her stepmom,she was horrible!)Until she found him kissing a girl called Rachel in the high school halls.It destroyed my heart,filling her with saddnes,anger,regret,and dread.Annabeth shook her head."No annabeth,stop.Your done with him now!" She walked into her bathrobe and went into the shower.I started to cry in the shower,masked by the shower.She rubbed her eyes and stopped crying.Sniffling,I said to myself,"stop annabeth,theres no reason to cry."I went out of the shower to dry up,do her hair,and change.while doing this she kept on mumur saying "Why.Why me!"A tear fell down and I quickly wiped away."Stop Annabeth!There is no reason to cry!She came out with her clothing on,(Ready from last night)hair done,and clean.She walked hown her appartment stairs,putting a fake smile on for her dad."Hey dad!" She said artificially."Hey sweetie!Come eat your pancakes!" Her dad said.She gobbled up her pancakes and started to walk to my high school.With a feeling of sadness,A tear came out of her eye.She let it fall down,wiping the excess off.She saw her school with her friends(They were also demigods!)on the curb.They grinned at her and waved quickly.A happy and greatful feeling filled inside her.At least you have them,She though.She grinned back and waved.She ran towards the school full speed.But then she stopped.A beautiful young man
with raven-black hair and hypnotizing green eyes about her age was walking toward the school doors,looking curious.I was staring at him and all of the other girls jaw dropped.My jaw dropped(of course it had to.....) as I actually saw his body. He was ripped.REALLY ripped.I think he saw a glance of me,because he looked my way
and grinned.As I felt heat come up to my cheek's grinned back.For some reason I also felt my friends smirk's pointing at me.I knew that for the first time since Luke,I was in love.
