Chapter 2

Abby

        Something just didn't feel right I couldn't tell why but something was just wrong. I felt safe with my friends though sure they act like idiots but its fun to be around them. I saw Hannah get up and start walking. "I'm gonna get some more sticks the fire is starting to go down" Someone else stood up. "I'll go too it's really dark so we might as well go together" It was Jose soon enough both of them left to get some more firewood.                         
      Everything had kindve gotten quite I just looked down and shuffled my feet.
After a little bit of time Daniel tapped my shoulder. "You okay there short stack" I nodded after a little. "Yeah I'm fine" He smiled and stood up he looked like an idiot as usual. "Would anyone care to dance tonight?" He tried his hardest at a terrible impression of a snobby rich kid. I started laughing at how bad it was I snorted and blushed but kept laughing. "You're a dumbass" I said inbetween laughs.
            Someone stood up and grabbed Daniel's hands. "Alright who leads first me or you" Darwin and Daniel were in position for a small waltz we had learned in band. "I like being twirled it makes me feel pretty" Daniel said with another terrible impression sometimes I questioned if he was actually straight. We all watched as the two tall idiots danced by the fire holding each other close. "I ship it" I said giggling a bit still not being able to contain myself because of how stupid they both looked.
They just shrugged it off before finishing the dance.
      "Ayyo niggas how about we tell some scary stories" Mordecai said it as overly exaggerated as possible. "What about losing kool aid or watermelon" Daniel joked I hated it but I let out a small laugh. Mordecai shook his head and set down. "No I mean really scary stuff that'll make you piss yourself"
         Jose was already coming back. "Alright is this enough guys?" It looked like enough to me. "Yeah that should be enough along with Hannah's stack" Ian and Darrion were talking as usual they seemed close. Tabby and Shelby were having their own conversation so I just went back to looking down I felt so sleepy but wide awake all at once it was strange. I was starting to fall asleep before we heard screaming from the woods.
          Everyone looked terrified no one moved at all for a second before Jose and Daniel ran into the woods. "Guys stay here everything will be fine alright she might've just gotten scared" Darwin said most likely trying to keep everyone calm. I didn't feel like everything was fine. Darrion quickly got up and followed the other two. "Ian make sure all of our stuff is still here okay" Ian began checking off on all of our stuff. "Yeah everything seems to be here I mean I don't see how anyone couldve taken anything" Darwin just sighed and looked around making sure everyone was fine. To me everyone else was fine just extremely worried I hoped Hannah was okay.

Jose
         I was running Daniel and Darrion close behind. "I think we are close guys" I looked down and spotted a liquid. I slowed to a stop the other two doing the same. "That isn't what I think it is" There was a trail of the crimson liquid it wasn't it was all over the place. "You don't think she's 'gone' do you" Daniel said fear obviously in his voice. We looked around and my eyes stopped on something above us.
       It was still covered in blood but I could see it was an arm the blood slowly trickling down and dropping to the ground. "No no this isn't happening this can't be happening" I backed up rubbing my eyes just wishing this was some terrible nightmare. No it was still there the three of us just looking up in shock. I took in every small terrifying detail. Her body was twisted her neck had been snapped it looked like a wolf had dug deep into her ripping sections of her skin off some of her bones completely visible.
        "We have to go now" Darrion finally said shakily. I looked one last time at Hannah before turning away from her corpse. "We have to hurry before... before anything else happens" Daniel said tears in his eyes he seemed more angry than sad. We quickly ran back to everyone else hoping everyone was okay. Well at least everyone who was left. We came back and just saw terrified and quite faces. "Where's Hannah at?!" Tabby looked more shaken than anyone. I just shook my head wanting to erase the image of her motionless bloody body from my mind. "We have to go now okay there's something out there and I don't want to find out what it is" We needed to leave as soon as possible.
