Chapter 8

"Hey mom!" Jess said as he walked into the living.
"Hey Jess" I said with a smile.
"How was the appointment?" He asked as Peter walked in.
"Good" I said.
"Good so do you know what your having?" He asked excitedly.
"A baby brother" I said as I looked at Peter.
"Oh that's pretty neat" he said with a small smile.
"And a baby sister" Peter said.
"Really? Twins?" Jess said as his smile grew.
"Yup" I said.
"Sweet double the trouble" he laughed.
Peter gave him the look.
"Trouble? Did I say trouble? I mean double the fun" he said as he ran for his room.
"That kid" Peter laughed.
"He's something" I said as we kissed.
"So Isaac is obviously the name of the boy" I said.
"Yeah but what's the girls name. Skylar or Isabella" Peter asked.
"I don't know I guess we will have to keep thinking" I said.
(Skylar or Isabella comment below which name they would name the girl)

Jess POV
Okay so my homework is done and now I'm sitting on my bed with a message typed up for Allison. I lied to Malina to get her number and Allison most likely has no idea about me even though I'm too five in the popular list. I swallowed hard and hit send.
"Hi Allison I'm Jess"
"Jess" I heard my mom said through the door.
"Yeah" I said as she walked in.
"Did you get your homework done?" She asked as she sat next to me.
"Yup" I said with a smile.
"I'm proud of you getting back on track" she said.
"Thank you" I said as my phone buzzed.
"What was that?" She asked.
"My phone" I said slowly.
"I know" she laughed.
"Well it was nice talking to you mom" I said with a smile.
"What are you hiding?" She asked.
"Nothing" I said.
"Jess" she said.
"I texted a girl" I whispered.
"What? Really?" She said with a smile.
"Yeah" I said.
"Was that her?" My mom asked like a little kid.
I looked at the phone and nodded.
"Well open the message" she said.
My guess was that my dad got called in so she had nobody to talk to.
I smiled and nodded as I opened the message.
"Petrelli? Jess Petrelli?" She asked.
"Yeah :)" I said.
"Wow how did you get my number?" She asked.
"My cousin Malina" I said.
"Oh she's your cousin? She's my best friend" she said.
"You like this girl?" My mom asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"That's cool what's her name?" My mom asked.
"Allison" I laughed.
"What grade?" She asked.
"She's a junior" I said as I blushed.
"Sorry I never got to do this in high school I was a lot younger than the other kids I was going to school with" she said slowly.
"And when you were my age you were with dad" I said.
She nodded with a smile.
"What's your guys story again?" I asked already knowing it but I actually enjoy hearing it expect for my grandfather "dieing".
"Okay" she said with a smile.
The story
"I walked in to the corner and told the man my name and he lead me to the back stopping your father on the way. They asked who he was and I wasn't sure what to call him and he jumped in and said he was my boyfriend. I seen your grandfather lying there on the table and I cried and the guy wanted me to leave two seconds after I go there and I was going to kill him if it weren't for your father when we left we went to you grandma's house and in the taxi I asked him if what he said was true the part about him being my boyfriend and he said it was if I wanted it to be and I did want to be his  girlfriend I had since I was 14 but I couldn't because one my dad would have frown on it and your dad was 18. Anyway from that day on your father and I were the power couple of well our family"
Story over.
"I love the story mom" I said with a smile.
"Yeah me too" she said with a smile as she kissed my head and got up and walked to the door.
"Mom?" I asked.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"I love you" I said with a smile.
"I love you too Jess" she said as she walked out.
My mom is like a superhero that's what I've always believed because I could never do half the things she does.

*next morning*
I text Allison for a while last night actually got to know each other I like her more now.
"Morning dad" I said as I walked into the kitchen.
"Morning Jess" my dad said as I joined him at the table with a muffin.
"Your mom said she got to talk to you last night" my dad said.
"Yeah it was pretty cool" I said.
*school*
"Hey Malina" I said as I walked up to her locker.
"This has got to stop" she said without looking at me.
"Why?" I asked.
"You never paid attention to me at school or hardly at my house when your there why now?" She asked.
"Same social class?" I question.
"No you want something" she said shutting her locker.
"No it just I have a lot in common with you" I said as I followed her down the hall.
"Why now Jess I spent years trying to hang out with you an my brothers when I was younger before we were split up and you were the first to say no" she said
"I can change I'm older now" I said.
She just kept walking.
"Please Malina believe me I really want to be friends" I said.
"What about Noah or Nathan?" She asked.
"Noah is still kinda mad about the grounding thing and Nathan's always with Emily" I said.
"Ugh fine we can be friends but you best not mess up Jess" she warned.
"I won't I swear" I said as I walked away.
"You just want to get close to Allison!" She yelled.
I kept walking. Malina isn't dumb she actually real smart and I may be half using her to get close to Allison but to be honest she is a bit cooler than her brothers well that's a lie but still Malina is my cousin after all.
"Jess" I herd a girl say from behind me.
"Yeah?" I questioned as I turned around and seen Allison.
"Hey" she said with a smile.
Malina sent her and I know it.
"Hi" I said as I ran my hands through my hair.
"So can I sit with you at lunch maybe talk some face to face?" She asked.
I nodded.
"Good" she said as she kissed my cheek and walked away.
"No way!" I herd Noah say as he walked up to me.
"Dear god" I said.
"You like her?" He asked.
"Maybe" I said.
"Jess Petrelli has a crush!" Noah yelled.
"Noah!" I yelled as I punched him.
"Sorry it's funny" he said.
"Why!" I said as we walked into English.
"Because" he said as he rolled his eyes.
"Do you like someone?" I asked.
"No because school is my number one priority" he said pulling out his book.
"What ever" I said rolling my eyes.
"It is!" He said.
"Not even your sister played that game she turned 16 and had he self a boyfriend" I said.
"I'm not my sister" he said.

*after school*
"You know this ice cream thing is a good I idea" Allison said with a smile as we walked down the cold streets of Carbondale.
"Thank you" I said with a smile.
Truth is the ice cream wasn't my idea it was Malina's.
I opened the door to Moe's and we walked in and sat at the counter.
I thought about the first time I was at Moe's sat in this very spot.
Flashback
"I'm coming too" I said as I ran to catch up with Nathan.
"To where" he asked.
"Um the ice cream shop" I said as we walked down the street.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because I want to Tommy can't you just love your little brother for once?" I asked.
"Fine come but no funny business" Nathan said as he looked at me.
"Never" I gasped as we walked in.
"Tommy!" Emily said as she ran over to Nathan with his uniform.
"Thank you" he said as he took the outfit and looked at me and walked away.
I stayed put until Nathan walked back out and then I walked up to the counter.
"Two scoops of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla" I said with a smile.
"How do you have money?" He asked.
"Don't ask questions" I said as I handed him $3.
"Okay" he said as he handed me the ice cream.
"Thanks bro" I said.
"Tommy I didn't know you had a brother" Emily said as she walked over.
"Oh yeah. Emily this is Brian and Brian this is Emily" Nathan said introducing us.
"Nice to meet you Brian" she said with a smile as she walked away.
"I actually hate that name" I said as I ate my ice cream.
Flashback over
I never really came back here after that.
"Hey Jess!" Nathan said with a smile.
"Hey bud!" I said.
"Hi Ally" Nathan said.
"Hi Nathan" she said.
"Two scoops of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla" I said with a smile.
"Maple" Allison said with a smile.
I handed Nathan a ten and he gave me the change and then got our ice cream.
"You here alone?" I asked.
"For a bit Emily had a club thing to go to" he said.
"Oh" I said.
"So when can you do sports again?" Nathan asked.
"I can do a sport now" I said.
"What are you going to do?" He asked.
"Track" I said.
"That leads to football so your back on track" Nathan said laughing.
"Yes Nathan your very funny" I said.
"So this a date?" Nathan asked.
"Could be" Allison said.
I just blushed.
What in the heck is wrong with me? Why can't I talk to her like a normal person?
"Hey Jess where are you?" My dad texted.
"Crap" I whispered.
"Something wrong?" Allison asked.
"Um no it's just I have to go" I said.
"What?" she questioned.
"My dad" I said.
"He strick?" She asked.
"Um yeah let's go with that" I said as we walked out the door.
"Jess what's going on?" She asked.
"Honestly I forgot to tell my dad I wasn't going to be home right away and over winter break I got into a bit of trouble so now my parents have to know where I am at all times" I said slowly.
"Oh" she responded as we walked down the street.
"I'll walk you home and then go home" I said.
"Oh no it's okay I'm going to Malina's" she said.
"Oh I'll walk you they live a couple houses from me" I said with a smile.
"Really?" She asked with a smile.
"Yup" I said as we turned down my street.

"That ones my house" I said pointing to my 4 bedroom house that my grandma bought my father since he's her only living son.
"Wow it's real nice" she said as we walked to my grandparents.
"Hi Jess" my grandpa said as he was getting out of his truck.
"Hi grandpa" I said.
"Grandpa? I thought Malina was your cousin" Allison asked.
Face palm.
"She is. You my grandfather is my moms dad and my uncle Noah Gray dad and Malina and Nathan are his step kids technically and his wife is my dads niece" I said.
"So Malina is you cousin and aunt" she asked.
"I guess if that's the way you want to put it" I said shrugging.
"Jess!" I heard my fathers voice behind me.
"I guess I better go" I said with a smile.
"Yeah I guess. Call me though" she said with a smile as she followed my grandpa in the house.
"Dad" I said as I spun on my heels.
"You didn't tell me you would be late" my dad said as we walked home.
"I know I'm sorry" I said as I hung my head down.
"You know I have to ground you for a few days" he said as we walked in.
"I know it was the agreement but does that take away the home phone took?" I asked handing my dad my phone.
"No but it gives you a time limit" he said.
"How long?" I asked.
"An hour" he said.
"Okay thank you" I said as he handed my phone back.
"Why do I need this I thought I was grounded" I said.
"Just from leaving the house unless it's school" my dad said as I headed to my room to do my homework.
