Cameras flashed and I was given flowers and a sparkling crown was placed on my head. Am I famous? No. I'm a pageant queen, and all I could think about was how itchy this hairpiece was. After I could see again I walked off stage and everyone flooded me. Being a gorgeous 15 year old pageant queen was not what it was made to be. My Mom smiled and hugged me and I smiled. "Great job sweetie, you knocked them dead and made Eden Woods kiss your sparkly ass!" Great, just what I wanted to hear that I had disappointed a freaking 6 year old yay. I got out of my glitter and put on pajamas and sat in the passenger seat of my mom's car. From one pageant to another. I hated it and girls envied me.
We passed the 15 miles sign and I texted my friends. No one got what I went through. The teasing of my hair and the spray tans. It was like I was a pageant Snookie, what everyone wanted right? No think again kids think again. We pulled into the parking lot of a Chic Fil A and I got out of the car. I don't even know why we stopped here, I'm not allowed to eat anything. I wish people would just realize how much torture this is. This is why there is this diary to show how fake the pageant world is. Fake like Snookie's tan. We walked inside and I felt like a normal person. Until my Mom brought up which color dress I was going to wear, then it got odd. I got out my journal and started writing.
