~Prologue~

~Sometimes I wished. .I had a normal life. .~

Lailah's mom: Lailah! Oi Lailah! Get up already, your breakfast is going to get cold!

Lailah: Im coming mom, I just need to finish packing!

~My name is Lailah i am seventeen years old, my family owns a shrine for as long as i can remember. Its really not that bad living here, its actually quite fun and relaxing yet not many people come over since we live in a small village but the people in it are very kind and caring.~

Lailah: Oh gosh! Look at the time! My bus is going to leave soon!

-I quickly took my luggage and ran towards the kitchen-

Lailah: Mom, dad! I don't have much time to eat my breakfast, my bus is going to leave soon.

Lailah's mom: See? I did told you to get up extra early today.

Lailah's dad: Haha! Your mother is right lailah.

Lailah: Yeah, i know i know, im sorry but i have to go now.

-I kissed both of my parents cheeks and hugged them really tight-

Lailah: Love you guys!

Lailah's parents: We love you too sweety.

Lailah's mom: I'm so proud of you sweety! And dont you ever forget that.

Lailah's dad: And be careful of those boys over there, you will not date anyone until you are tewnty years old.

Lailah: Dad!

Lailah's mom: haha, hes joking sweety, don't worry. If you find someone who gets your attention then i say go for it.

Lailah's dad: She shall not do such a thi-

-Before dad could finish he's sentence mom quickly shoved a honey bun up he's mouth, I let out a small chuckle as she did-

Lailah's mom: Now now dear i think she knows how to take care of herself.

-He gave a grumpy look as he nommed the honey bun-

Lailah: Well! Im off now! I'll send you letters when i can.

Lailah's mom: Take care sweety and be safe.

Laihla: I will.

~After saying our goodbyes I quickly rushed over to the bus station before it let me behind. Why am I in such a rush you ask? Well it all started when I recieved a letter from Sanyukarai Academy wich is the academy I always wanted to go to since I was a little kid, so I piled all of my courage and took the test. A few weeks later I got an acceptance letter! I was so happy that I couldn't help myself but jump around. .until I bumped into mom's favorite vase and broke it. Of course mom got mad but after I showed her the letter she got over it quite fast than I had hoped. The academy is all the way to Tokyo so im kinda nervous since from this day onward im going to be living all by myself.~

???: Hey, Hey Lailah!, why are you in such a rush?

-I stopped and looked at my left-

Lailah: John, What are you doing here?

John: I saw you run out of your house so i came to check up on ya.

Lailah: Geez John, I tought I told you that I was going to Tokyo today.

John: Really? I don't remember.

Ms.Clinton: Talking all by yourself again Lailah?

Lailah: Oh! Hi Ms.Clinton, I uh wasn't talking to myself I was. .um thinking out loud! Yeah that's right.

Ms.Clinton: Hmm it didn't seem quite that wa-

Laihla: Sorry Ms.Clinton but im in a bit of a hurry you see, so uhm take care!

~I continued to hurry over to the bus station. John? Well. .you see, John died in an accident twelve years ago. How can I see him if he's already dead? I don't really know how to explain it myself but I could see ghosts since I was five years old. At the start yes I was terrified of them but some of them aren't that bad but there is indeed different types of ghosts some of them are nice some of them are mischievious some of them want to hurt the living and many more. I know immediately who's a ghost since i can see they're souls next to them, yes, not inside of them but outside of they're ghostly bodies. The only way for them to pass on peacefuly, is to fufill they're wishes wich some of them are not as easy as they say. I really hope I can take a break from all of this in tokyo.~

John: Hey hey! What about me? Are you just gonna leave me here all alone?

Lailah: Im sorry John but you cant come. Can you look after my parents while im gone?

John: Whaa?!

-He puffed he's cheeks as he looked away a bit annoyed-

Lailah: If you do me this favor i'll bring back some of the expensive cookies you like so much.

John: . . .Really?!

-He immediately looked at me with sparkly eyes-

Lailah: Of course! That's a promise.

-The honk of the bus could be heard as the bus driver yelled at me "Hurry up girl! We need to get going!"-

Lailah: Well that's my sign, take care john!

John: Don't forget my chocolates!

Lailah: yeah yeah i know.

~i aboard the bus and sat on the last seat available as I waved good bye to john, Im super excited yet I still have this strange feeling of unease that I cant shake away. . I hope everything turns out alright and nothing bad happeneds~
