She never struggled to define what love was. While some flung the word out as if it were a life line for a sinking ship, she knew it was worth more, and yet so simple. When asked what loved, she had a simple answer; love was being safe enough to let the walls of her brick tower come tumbling down to let someone in. It was a warm fuzzy emotion to her, it was someone caring enough to want to see the damage behind the walls. As much as she had endured in life, crumbling walls were a rare occurrence, she was usually to stubborn and strong to let them down for just anyone. In fact, in 27 years it had only happened once. She had become accustomed to feeling alone in her life. It would seem love was far out of reach, she could only sit in her stone tower, watching others pass by, happy and delighted. Very few stopped to even inquire of the tower, those who did only tossed stones at her castle as they eventually turned their backs and left.
