Few days later, Amir and Ruby talking about the book story. Amir grinned. He ask, "Ruby... Can I... " Ruby said, "I have to go. I am late! " She look at her watch. She waving to Amir as good-bye. She run off. Amir said, "I.... Bye... See you soon." Ruby arrive to the cafe place. She sit on fancy chair. She wait for a woman. A woman appear. She said, "Hello Ruby..." Ruby said, "Hi Zelda. " Zelda said, "You must go dance with Luke for Halloween Festivities!" Ruby look so angry. She demand,"No, I want Amir ask me to. " Zelda said, "Oh.. So sweet! Rosa are Amir's date." Ruby gasp and run away. Zelda cackling. Ruby run and thinking. Why I am crying!? I am heartbroken? No! She shake her head and still run. Her tears roll on her cheeks. Amir see Ruby run that way. Amir after her. He touch Ruby's arm. Ruby snapped at him. Amir look surprise. He said,"What wrong?" Ruby leave and enter her dorm. She run in her room. Amala were there. She gasp because Ruby is crying. Amala hug her. She said, "What happen, Red? " Ruby whimper,"You're right that I love Amir... I think he like Rosa...." Amala smile and whisper,"Don't be sad. I am really glad that you love him. But, you remember that Rosa try make you jealous... You must ask Amir first instead Rosa, understand?" Ruby let Amala go and wipes her tears. Ruby nodded. She said,"I have to see Amir..." Amala said, "Yes, see you soon. " Ruby leave and go search Amir. She gasp because she see Rosa and Amir talking. Ruby said, "I know it....." She walk off... Rosa said, "Can you be my date?" Amir look not happy. He said, "Are you one talk Ruby today?" Rosa said, "She talk with my friend, Zelda." Amir grab Rosa's arm and tight. He demand, "Don't you close me or Ruby ever.... If you do. I will kill you and that evil witch!" He shove Rosa and walk off. Rosa rubs her arm where Amir hurt her. She whimpers,"I will not give up... I will close him and Ruby will be real heartbroken! Then she became worse!" She laugh as evilly.
Amir stand front of back girl dorm. He let his wings stretch out and flapping. He fly to Ruby's room balcony. He knock the door. Amala open the door and gasp. She close the door quietly. She demand, "What you want?" Amir frown. He said, "Can I talk to Ruby?" Amala shake her head. Amir look very sad. He said, "Pretty Please?" Amala said, "No. You hurt Ruby's feeling... She almost heartbroken. She can change worse! Why you don't care!?" Amir said, "What I do!?" Amala said, "You choose Rosa instead Ruby..." Amir yell, "I am not!" Amala ingrone him and go her room and slam the door. Amir knees and he look down. Amala look at Ruby. Ruby is sleep soundly.
Morning, Ruby sit on her chair and look outside by her window. She look serious and froze. Amala carry Ruby's food. Amala see old food for dinner. She said, "You not eat dinner last night!.... You must eat breakfast while I go to classes. OK?" Ruby said nothing. She just froze and glare outside by her window. Amala look not happy. She know that Ruby have love weakness. Amala hug Ruby and walk off. Amala see Amir stand against the tree and he look not happy. Amala run to him. Amir said, "How Ruby?" Amala whisper,"You look paler.... What happen?" Amir demand, "How Ruby?" Amala yell, "Amir! Ruby not fine! I take care of her! So, I take care of you too! Both of you are my friend! Tell me what happens!" Amir said, "I stay at your balcony all night while storm came." Amala slap at his arm and demand, "Go dorm until you get better. " Amir walk off... Amala sigh in exhaust. She walk to her class. She look worries about Ruby. Nike sit next to her. Nike said, "I am sorry if you really worry about Ruby. I am too.... Can I ask you something?" Amala look surprise and force smile. She nodded. Nike said, "Can you be my date for Halloween Festivities?" Amala said, "Yes!" Nike smirk at her. Amala bushing.
After school, Amala run to dorm. She run to her room. She see Ruby not move anything. And breakfast food not been eaten. Amala pull the chair where Ruby is sit on to front Amala's bed. Amala sit on her bed front of Ruby. Amala demand, "Please.... Don't try kill yourself... I want you back. I have a lots to tell you! Please eat that dinner! Amir is sick too. He not look normal because of you. He love you. Please wake up!" Ruby said, ".................." She just froze. Amala start sobbing. She lay on her bed. It's been hard day... Amala stop cry. She look at Ruby. Ruby do nothing. Amala walk to bathroom to take shower then put Pjs on then go bed...... Amir look at ceiling and frown. He closes his eyes. He dream about Ruby.
Ruby laughing because, Amir play with her. She yell, "Stop! Stop, it's tickle! " Amir said, "I won't stop until you kiss me!" Ruby's hands touch his cheeks. Ruby said, "I love you forever." She closer his face. Their lips touch each together. They kiss. They let it go and they smile. Ruby said, "I will miss you... " She frown... The dream end.....
