I woke up to the sound of the wind against the palm trees and the smell of the beach.

I wanted to go back, no I needed to

"BANG"I heard a door slam shut

I stood up quickly, running out my room, clothes scattered all over the floor, not wanting to see anything, I ran across Abby's room.

I run down the stairs, my back pressed against the wall

"Good morning!" Abby greets setting a breakfast plate on the table

"Ggg..good morning" I awkwardly sit down on the table.

"How was your sleep?"

"How was yours?"

scooping up my scrambled egg and taking a bite I watch her face turn red.

"Uh... Amber!"

"What?"

"Ugh.... l..lets eat!"

She said taking her coffee and sitting across me.

I don't know what's with people turning red it so...strange.

"Why did you turn red?"

"Wwhat..do you mean?"

"there you did it again"

"Wwell, It's called blushing Amber"

"Why do you 'blush' then?"

"I don't expect you to understand"

After Abby thought of a few theories about blushing, I brushed my teeth, and put on a shirt and a pair of ripped up jeans and rubber shoes and left the house.

The school was only a few blocks away so I walked there everyday.

I always preferred it anyway,there are lots of things people miss riding their cars, just blasting music thought the speakers of their cars.

People just take things for granted

It took me about eight minutes to reach the school, the sound of laughter and chattering filled my ears it scared me, the noise.

"She's so weird"

Huff.

"Like ew"

"No way rubber shoes what Is she gradeschool?"

Breathing heavily, I ran to the nearest bathroom and into a stall, and sat there just taking a few breathes.

I struggled to breath so I ran out side quickly, it continued I started panting as well

"Omg is she dying!" A girl yelled from behind

"Here" a hand was held out carrying a jug of water"

I weakly took it and drank up, each

Swallow lightening my breathing.
