Book Worm Joonie

Today was so boring without Joonie's entertainment. Usually by now he'd be making me laugh somehow but, he's been stuck in his book. Don't get me wrong I love reading but he takes it to an extreme.

Ever since he got home he's been reading. That book can't be that damn interesting can it? This is his only day off for awhile and he wants to waste it on a book and ignoring his girlfriend.

After dinner he stuck his nose right back into the book. At that point I had enough. I got tired of looking at a stupid cover. I walked into his office and put on my best aegyo.

"Joonie!", I said. Without putting his book down he said, "Hmm? What do you need Jagi?". I whined, " I need you!". All I got in response was his furrowed eyebrow.

I walked towards him and stood beside the chair he was sitting in. "What are you reading? Seems boring.", I sighed. He turned his head to me and said, " how would you know? You haven't. Read it.
I did the only thing I could think of. I puffed my cheeks and gave him puppy eyes.

" Joonie you've been reading all day. Can't you put the book down for a little bit?", I huffed. "Maybe in a little bit. Not now.", he said. I was taken back. My aegyo almost always works. What did I do wrong?

I was defeated. I took in a deep sigh and started waking away. Out of nowhere he grabbed my arm and pulled me back. He pulled me into his lap. I was confused but I couldn't help but smile.

"Well, since you've never read this book then let's read it together.", he said. I was happy he even noticed my existence but, I wanted to have at least some fun today. So I put my aegyo back on.

"But what if o don't want to read?", I joked. He smirked and said, "Be quiet Jagi and I'll read it to you.". I laughed and playfully smacked his leg. "Ok Joonie I'll shut up.", I replied.

I rested my head on his chest as he read my a few chapters. I wasn't really paying attention to the words it was just nice to hear him speak. After a few. Chapters I guess I fell asleep because I woke up on our bed the next morning.

I moved around the bed trying to look for Joonie but he said wasn't there. I was a little upset but I knew he has work to be done. I went down stairs to make breakfast and saw a note on the counter.

It read: ~DearJagi~ I tried making breakfast for you but I messed it up. Have a good day sleepyhead see you tonight.
P.S~ Let's finish our book tonight.
