I was furious. My girl, Levy, was flirt-fighting with the enemy! She is so dead. I let out a low growl as I took long strides up to Levy. All the color drained from her face and her smile fell. Her body tensed as I stopped right in front of her, my large body towering over her. "What. Was. That?!" I spit out.

She visibly flinched and slowly looked up at me meeting my stare. "Nothing, It was nothing Laxus." 'Lies.'

"Don't lie to me Levy." I looked around and noticed that most of the gang were staring at us. I grumbled in annoyance and grabbed Levy's wrist tightly as I dragged her to a secluded area of the base. "You don't want to get on my bad side Levy. You know that better then anyone."Levy looked down in pain from the memories.

It's not like I enjoyed what I did. In fact I hated what I did, but it had to be done. I couldn't risk her calling the cops. Guilt slowly seeped its way into me. I internally growled at this and let out a sigh. "I'm sorry." My head snapped towards Levy. Her head was facing down making the hair that wasn't caught in the headband fall in front of her face.

I grumbled and rubbed the back of my neck while shaking my head. 'Stupid guilt.' "Just, don't do it again." I grudgingly said. With my hand still on the back of my neck I looked down at her waiting for a response.

"Ok. I won't." I nodded as she walked away back to the main area of the base. I clossed my eyes and shook my head.

Flashback

"You won't say anything." a younger Laxus sneered out at a cowering bluenett.

"I-I will! I c-can't let you continue to do this freely!" The bluenett responded boldly.

Laxus stood up fully instead of bending down to her height. "You're making a big mistake shortie."

"Its Levy!" She responded back getting angry at the name he decided to call her.

Laxus snorted, "Whatever." He then turned and walked off as Levy stared at his retreating figure.

She let out a sigh of relief as he fully disappeared from her site. She started to continue her rout to the library so she could study. As she turned a corner she slammed into what felt like a wall. Successfully dropping her books while managing to catch her balance she looked up to see what, or in this case who, she ran into.

A tall man with long, black, spiky hair and piercings in his ears, nose, and eyebrows stood tall. He looked down at her and raised a studded eyebrow at her. "S-sorry." She squeaked out as she flew down to the ground to pick up her books. That tall man studied her as she picked up her books. Once she had them all and stood up she realized he was watching her. "What?" She asked in curiosity.

"Tch, nothin." The man replied shrugging and stepping to the side. "Just watch where you're going next time shrimp." He then continued down the hall towards the exit of school.

"Its Levy." She mumbled under her breath.

Flashback End

I started walking back to the main area to find that Levy had already left along with Lucy and Juvia. I looked around and only started to realize just how tiered I really was. I let out a huge yawn and stretched. 'Time to go get some sleep.' I silently walked out of our hidden base into the maze of alleys. I walked through turning every now and then before coming out onto the side walk.

I overlooked the empty streets and dimly lit lamp posts. I took a deep breath loving the cool, crisp feeling slightly stinging my lungs. I let out a satisfied sigh as I started walking towards my house.
