Chapter 1: Lost In The Moment
i sat there staring at her.. She was looking straight at me. Those were the same eyes of the girl i used to love.. Those were the eyes of the girl that told me i was her everything. The first time she told me that was... the day we were sitting underneath that tree. She had on her low cut hot pink shirt on that made her body look amazing and her skinny jeans that were holy. I loved messing with them and she'd just sit there and blush... Just as i was entering a new stage in my daydreams/memories the bell rang and she got up and walked away.. " I still love you.." i whispered so low that i didn't think anyone could hear me. Just as i had finished saying it my girlfriend, Emily approached me and hugged me from behind. She was the man in our relationship. "hello baby" she had said as she kissed me on my cheek leaving it feel all tingly. I responded by saying "what are our plans tonight?" she knew it was my birthday or at least i thought she did. "Oh nothing, I was just thinking about going home and spending time with my family." Emily said casually. "oh.." i said quietly with a look of disappointment on my face. Then she gave me a kiss and walked off to her next class. I searched the hallway for Brennalee but I couldn't find her. We had the next class together so i guessed i'd see her then.. She and I needed to talk. I wanted to know if she ad been serious about us being done for good or she was just going through another emotional stage.. As i entered the classroom i saw her sitting in her seat, her black mascara and eyeliner running down her face and her phone in her hands.. I knew something was wrong. I wondered if i should approach her and ask her if she was ok, but as soon as i walked towards her she took off to the bathroom.. I thought maybe i had done something wrong. I hadn't said a word to her.. I decided to walk and follow her to the bathroom..
