It was Saturday night, the street have no lights and it was treacherously dark and it was an eerie silence, people tend to sleep before  8:00 pm and shut their windows, locked their doors and turn off the light for they were afraid to be visited by a blood-lusting vampire. Laura Louisville made her way to the street with a confident smirk at her lips. Why is she confident? things happen that she is the infamous vampire slayer in town but is she a human? no, she was a half-demon and half-human. Well at least she have humanity,  she carefully walked in the middle of the streets looking at a far away vampire who looked at her with lust, suddenly the vampire was running towards her. Such a foolish move, she took out from her boots, a gun, pulled the trigger and *BAM* the special silver bullet with a poison was shot at his heart, he fell to the ground and she ran towards him and cut his head, then the body including the head turned to ashes.  S he felt pity for the vampire however, it is not his fault that he was born with a vampire blood at his veins but it was needed to be done.

She hide her gun at her pocket, made her way to a nightclub. Compared to that street, here she heard loud music, chattering of the drunk humans but almost, others were vampires. Truth to be told, she have to admit she only killed vampires who killed humans with innocent lives and who have tried to kill her. Her eyes shifted to a giggling girls surrounded by drunken men, who was pretty hungry. Blood lust. A hungry vampire was no good and it was public, however she had a wicked idea. Men are men, seduce them and they will chase you.

"Yer so gorgeous", said one of them with lust in his eyes, both blood lust and crave for her body.

She give them a seductive wink and turned around, she knew they will follow her soon. One second, then immediately those vampires were near to her, she went to walk at an old room at the club. She turned around and licked her lips, though its enough to make them crazy.

She took out the gun and all of them looked horrified. Lust disappeared at their eyes.

"Sh!t" one of them exclaimed. Before one of them can move, as fast as she can, she shot  silver bullets at them and cut off their head with her strength as a demon. All of them turned to ashes and she turned around and walked with no emotion in her eyes. It was finished....for now.

"Lauraine, how many vampires have you killed?", asked the new vampire slayer, also her new friend, Avera Stanford asked with curiosity. The brunette chuckled darkly and it frightened Stanford. It was rare to see her happy, she thought as she stared at Laura.

"I can't count how many of them, let's just say more than millions", Laura Louisville replied with a unreadable expression in her face but deep down she felt guilty and angry, but she can't let anyone see it, they will use her weakness against her.

"Wow", Stanford muttered, amazed. They were in the academy's practice room, standing near to the walls. Laura stared at the window and sighed. They were going to a new mission, that's for sure. She knew Professor Willows will never give her a rest, she was the most skilled vampire slayer and a spy. Things would have got interesting if it weren't for the same days. She leaned her head at he wall, crossing her arms.

"Killing is not the sweetest thing you'll ever do even to the people who have killed your mother, killing a vampire was not easy, others were in a tomb just resting. The first rule of a vampire slayer is not to trust people even they are your friends, just remember that, your mother was a great vampire slayer though not strong enough to fight dozen of them", Laura explained. She noticed Avera was uncomfortable at the mention of her mother, Wendy Stanford. Avera is just new to things, even emotions like pain, Laura knew she have to guide her. Avera's father was alive though, James Stanford is the second most-skilled vampire slayer with a special gift of mind-controlling, that's what she remembered from the information of her professor.

"So, do you have a special gift or something?", asked Avera, changing the topic immediately. Laura smiled at the girl, she knew she don't want to cry at the front of her.

She shook her head, she promised to don't trust anyone, she can't tell her she was a demon. She rubbed her forehead and furrowed her eyebrows when Avera stood, gaping at her.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies", She spoke, softly. Avera blushed and closed her mouth.

"So you're only a human?"

Laura burst out laughing while Avera looked confused. "I would not say only", she said, looking at the new vampire slayer with amusement.

Then they laughed together. Laura haven't laughed for years, yep life is just fantastic, she thought bitterly.

"Louisville!", a young man called to her. "Professor called for you"

Laura nodded at him. He is Henry Grant, the assistant of the professor. She knew his secret for years, he is a vampire before but was turned into a human by a warlock and she also knew the professor know this.

"Stay here", Laura said to Avera before leaving the room. She walked through the hallway with curiosity , she opened the professor's room and saw her professor, George Willows, sitting at a chair staring at her.

"There is a new mission for you as a spy"

Of course, she thought. Though what's the mission?

Laura walked towards him and he handed her a picture of a man about her age maybe 20's, she narrowed her eyes at the picture and threw professor a questioning look.

"You will spy that man, he live in Manhattan, Inwood above the Dyckman Street, his name was Cain Holt, 22 years old, another vampire slayer"
