Chloe’s POV

I struggle and fight as Caleb drags me to the car and throws me into the backseat and quickly locks the doors.

“Where are you taking me?” I ask but he doesn’t reply instead he tells the driver to start the car.

“Please just tell me where we are going!” I shout and that draws his attention to me, he turns around and stares at me for a while then laughs. I can’t believe it he actually laughs in my face.

“Gosh Chloe after all them days you spent shouting at me telling me how stupid I was....you don’t recognise me do you?”

I look at him and then shake my head and say “I don’t know who you are!”

“What about the driver do you recognise him?” Caleb laughs

I turn my attention towards the driver and study him, he has thick brown hair and green eyes. I try to think if I know anyone who has green eyes but I come up blank.

“I don’t know who you are!”

“Really Chloe I’m never going to let you live this down”

“Seriously who are you?”

Caleb looks at me then brings his hand up to his hair and pulls off his black hair which I now know is a wig. I have never been happier to see this idiot in all my life.

“Kale?”

“Finally she gets it!”

“And I suppose that’s Ron up in front driving?”

“How could you forget your husband’s best friends!” Ron shouts

“What are you two loons doing here?”

Kale puts his hand on his heart “That hurt Chloe you’d think you’d be a little more appreciate after all we are rescuing you”

“I can’t leave there’s a guy named Jared he has Braylon” I nearly cry at the thought of leaving my son

“Chloe calm that guy Jared or whatever his name is now dead. Braylon is waiting for you along with a scared women with a baby who won’t say anything to us”

“You have Braylon?”

“Correction Baxter has Bray and he’s waiting for you”

The car comes to a stop a little while later at an air field. Caleb comes and opens the door for me and helps me out of the car. The first person I see is Sophia holding her baby, when she sees me she shouts my name and comes running over to me. We hug for a few minutes and I let her go when I see Baxter standing beside a huge airplane.

He looks up and our eyes catch each other and then he’s running towards me and hugging me in a gentle embrace. He sets me on the ground and kisses me.

“I love you Chloe”

“I don’t understand Bax how?”

“I’ve lied to you about a lot things babe one of them being that I’m not a lawyer”

“And I’m not a school teacher!” Kale shouts

“What do you mean?”

“I work for a part of the government which specialises in gangs. Ron and Kale are my partners and for years now we have been after Carver Midland. I’m so sorry baby he targeted you to get us of his back I never thought....I’m so sorry” he looks down to the ground and I put my hand under his chin and pull it up so that he’s looking into my eyes

“Hey you saved me”

“I didn’t I was too late....I will love that baby as if it were my own I promise you Chloe that I’ll love this baby no matter what”

“Thank you Baxter and Thank you nim rods”

“Hey we rescued you we deserve some respect!” Kale shouts and the two of us just laugh

I stop laughing when a pain hits me and I turn to Baxter “Bax the baby’s coming”

He sweeps me into his arms and rushes up the steps off the air plane. He reaches a room and sets me on the bed.

“Bax I need a doctor!”

“Doctor Kale in the house”

“Oh hell no he’s not delivering our baby. Baxter you get me to a hospital right now!”

“Baby he’s a doctor”

“I don’t care that idiot isn’t touching me!” I scream out in pain as the contractions start getting stronger “On thoughts he’ll do”

“Gee thanks I now I’m loved” Kale mutters

“You know I love you big douche now shut up and deliver the baby”

After hours of being in labour and hours of screaming, grunting and pushing Kale announce that we have a baby girl. Kale cuts the cord and hands her to me.

“She’s beautiful” Baxter says placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

All of a sudden there’s shouting and Ron comes bursting through the doors “Sorry I couldn’t hold him back any longer”

And then I see who he is talking about. Braylon makes his way over to me crying mummy.

“Bray I want you to meet someone this is your baby sister Kaitlin”

“She’s so pretty...hi baby” he smiles at her and I smile at him and kiss him on the cheek

“Mummy missed you”

“I miss mummy too”

“Baxter we can’t leave Dakota she’s still there....she saved my life and Kaitlin’s I can’t leave her”

“And you won’t because we’ll rescue her too”

“Is that the cute blonde chick?” Kale asks and I throw a stern glance his way

“Oh really Kale after all the dates I set you up with and then you take one look at Dakota and think she’s perfect...well I have news for you she’s too young for you”

“How old is she?”

“It’s her birthday today so she’s 18 now”

“Well I’m only 24”

I hit him over the head and he whines about how it hurt. I wonder how Dakota is and what she had, was it a boy or girl. I knew all along Carver would choose her it’s because he’s obsessed with her and I fear that I left her there too long that she could actually fall in love with him.

“Don’t worry Dakota I’m coming for you I promise”
