I walked into my house and threw my book on the couch as I go to my cat to pet her. "Hey Molly Girl" I coo at her. Yes we named the cat Molly Girl because Molly is another name for a female cat. She purred with her eyes shut as I pet her. The she me-rowed and jumped off the couch to her food bowl. After she ate she started to clean her self. I rolled my eyes and went into my room and turned the radio on. 'The A Team' came on. I squeled because this was my all-time favorite song and they barely EVER play this song. "And they say she's in the class A team, stuck in her daydream, been this way since 18, but lately her face seems, slowly sinking, wasting, crumbling like pastries, and they scream, the worst things in life come free to us, cause we're just under the upperhand, and go made for a couple grams, and she don't want to go outside tonight, and in a pipe she flies to the motherland, or sells love to another man, it's too cold outside, for angels to fly, angels to fly." I continue singing and listening to music till it's time to get my brothers off the bus. My mom was at work and my stepdad must be picking her up or he's working for a change. Well I pet Molly Girl on the way out. "'l'll fill your food bowl when I get back" I tell her shutting the door. I quickly run to the stop as the bus pulls up. My brothers run to and practically tackle me with hugs. I chuckle. "Guys can you get off me now?" I ask. "Oh yeah" Haydan says. I roll my eyes typical. "Is mom home?" they ask. "Nope" I say "Jim isn't home either" I open the door and they run inside. "HAYDAN HOMEWORK PARKER READ!!" I yell knowing they have homework. "No I don't have any." Haydan pauses his Xbox since he's playing minecraft. "What?" I question. "It's Friday" he says slowly so I can process it. "Oh right I knew that! I was testing you" I pause for a second. "Oonajjge" I say like Ross from 'Friends'. My phone vibrates in my pocket and starts playing 'Demons' by Imagine Dragons. That's Tammy's ringtone!!! I quickly answer it. "Hallo?" "Hey Jay, I was wondering if you could meet me at Spirit of Halloween?" she said. "Oh I'll ask my mom when she gets home I'm watching my bros right now" I say then hear a car door slam. "My moms home hold on" my mom walks in the door. "Hey mom can I meet Tammy at Spirit of Halloween?" I ask. "Yeah sure." She walks into her room. "My mom said yes meet you there in 10 minutes." "K!" We hang up. I grab my house key, my wallet, and look around the room. K I'm ready and I run out the door and walk towards the Spirit of Halloween wondering why Tammy wants to meet me. The smell of crisp leaves wafts through the fall air. I wish it didn't have to fall but hey! Halloween is just around the corner!
