Fragile heartbreaker

Chapter 3

Gabi~P.O.V

I smile back at him. I can feel my cheeks reddening. I look at him again as I get up. He looks up at me and gets up as well, he smiles and follow me out. "Hey what's your next class?" He asked. "Can I walk you?"
"Um I have English" I replied "ok I'll walk you" he said with a smile.

Arg what was with all this smiling! I thought to myself. I've never felt this way before with a guy. We start talking about who was who and where everything was because he was new and everything. "So do you have any friends yet?" I asked Carlos. "No, I was hoping we could be friends?" He replied quickly. "Oh ya that would be cool!" I say to him casually but inside I'm freaking out. "Sweet I'd like that" he explained. "So what do you have next?" I ask
"Science, it right next to your class so i thought might as well take you" Carlos replied. "Ok" I say quickly!

We arrive to class early, Carlos and I separate. "I'll meet you at the cafeteria" i explained. I walk into class with all eyes on me like I had just shot someone. I thought to myself 'why was everyone looking at me'. I walk over to my seat next to Beth. "Hey" I say " hey!" Beth replied excited. "So.... You got a boy friend aye" she snickered "NO he's just a friend!" I say a bit too quickly. "Oh well I ship it!" She said. "No, no shipping" I said. "Yes, I want to and I'm going to so deal with it" she snapped playfully.

We start class and the teacher starts talking but I zone out. I was dreaming about me and Carlos, about what was going to happen. Once class finished a walk to the cafeteria to get my lunch.

"Hey over here Gabi" Carlos yelled. He was sitting down at a empty table saving a spot for me. I smile and take my food over to the table. "Hey where do you think your going" Georgia snaps as she steps in front of me."Look out Georgia I need to eat" I say scared of what she was going to do. "No your not" she snickered as she flipped my plate of food onto the floor. " Go back to were you belong" she yells. Carlos runs over to me. "What was that all about?" He asked. "Oh that girl she's just a bully that's all" I replied. "Oh ya she started talking to me this morning, she was really annoying" he explained "oh well let's just go sit down. My friend Beth has science during lunch today so she won't be here". I explain.
"Oh that's ok then" Carlos said. "Ah got the old beans in rice for lunch going on aye" I say playfully. "Haha very funny" Carlos says sarcastically. "But seriously why is that girl so mean to you?"
"I did something to her many years ago I just guess she's good at holding grudges." I explain.
The sound of the bell for end of lunch goes off in my ears. "Well I'll see you tomorrow" He said. "Ya see you tomorrow" I reply
