Chapter 2

DAY 2- MORNING

LOCATION: OUTSIDE OCEANIC CITY

Jasmine and Ray is on their lab, trying to build a portal for Rose, while Rose, who are all alone, decided to be helpful and cleaned the girl's room. Ray room mostly filled with the color blue and purple, and a little bit messy. Rose also found out that Ray loves collecting stuff, those stuff lay all over the place. Not like Jasmine whose room is really neat, her room mostly contain of pastel blue and white, Rose decided to only take the laundry out when she noticed a pastel blue book with a jasmine flower on the cover. The book was marked on a certain page, Rose decided to read it. She opened the book and read it.

Dear diary, 

Today, me and Ray encounter a girl, her name id Rose. She remind me of Sakura, they both look similar. It also remind me that it have been 3 years after Sakura and Orchid gone missing, 2 years after my parents got arrested for child abuse and a year after I met Ray. Even though Sakura and Orchid is annoying, I still miss them. It's kinda boring here. I just hope the portal works, I don't want for Rose to suffer the same pain I have. Ray told me that there's only 0.05% of the portal to succeed, but Rose didn't know that, we didn't want for her to panick, all we can do is do our best and make that portal.

Suddenly, Rose hear Jasmine's footstep, she quickly put the book back at its place and hide in her closet. The door open and Jasmine walk in. After a minute, Jasmine came out, Rose stay at the closet to process all the information she got. 'No way, Ray and Jasmine will succeed, I believe in them.' Rose though, she came out the closet and go to the direction of her room in which she is staying at. 'I will be back soon.' She though to herself.

DAY 2-AFTERNOON

LOCATION: ORPHANAGE

-Nia's POV-

This afternoon, Daisy decided to eat, we all are seating at the dining table with the other kids, eating our lunch. Daisy and Lily still play with the other kids while smiling, but I know it was fake. Lily eyes are red and puffy, Daisy have tear stains in her cheek, they both have been crying. I know how they feel, it's just like when my family die in the plane crash, I still remember how it all happened. It all stuck in my memory, despite that I want it to gone so badly. They're screaming, they're scared face, they're shout for help and finally the crash. It's really hurt to see you're family asking you're help, but you can't do anything about it."Nia? Why are you crying?" A girl asked, I didn't noticed I was crying, I wiped it off quickly. "I was cutting some onion, now it's sting." I lied. The girl then smile and continue eating her lunch, while I keep looking at Daisy and Lily. All I can do is pray for Rose to wake up from her sleep.

DAY 2-EVENING

LOCATION: OCEANIC CITY

"Done!" Ray and Jasmine took a step back to see the portal they had just made, It's usually took months for scientist to made, but in these girl's hands, a day is enough."All we need is a power source to-" before Jasmine finished it, Ray already toss her a purple sack. Jasmine give Ray a confusing look and opened it. Jasmine gasp, inside is a purple glowing rock."No, we can't use this it's belong to your mother."Ray just smiled, "If my mom is alive, she would do the same." Jasmine smile, Ray is like a sister to her,'Good thing Ray is still here.' she though to herself.
