My First Day.
'Ok,this is it' I murmured at the bottom of my voice.' This is where it all starts,my new life'
With my new bag,uniform,heavy books I stumbled through the main entrance wondering what's going to happen. A loud bell rang so I presumed it was the bell for class.Off I went up the stairs through the corridors and in to the class.there was so many people 30 maybe. I knew nobody because I just moved from a town in Galway far away.Everyone knew each other and was in small groups sitting around tables having conversations and laughing.
We were all assigned our seats. 'Hello' said the girl I was sitting next to .She seemed very friendly. 'Hi'I shyly said back.'whats your name?' said the girl with a big smile on her face.'Ruby and you?'smiling awkwardly back.'Rachel' She said back . From then on I knew we would be friends.
Across the room a girl with long blonde hair smiled at me and gave a big wave. I looked around to see if she was waving at me or another person, but I was interrupted by the teacher saying to talk to whoever we were siting beside and get to know them. There was no point because everyone already knew each other except me.Rachel and I had a long conversation.then the teacher said we can go talk to other girls. The girl from across the room who waved at me earlier came walking up to me. 'Hey' She said' I waved at you 'oh I wasn't sure if you were waving at me or not..sorry...' 'it's ok'. She smiled back 'I'm Sorcha' ' I'm Ruby' She seemed crazy ... I liked her .
