"Stop it!"
I yell at the top of my lungs, extending my arms over the table to grasp my phone out of Geum's hands.

Amusement and curiosity was written all over her face as her eyes roamed the screen, a wide grin across her face.

I glance at my puzzled parents as they both let out long sighs, continuing to munch down on their pastas.

"Give it back!"
I beg, my voice so loud that her head instantly shoots up, her eyes widen in surprise.

Immediately, she pushes the mobile device towards me violently, cursing under her breath as she lets go of it.

With my jaw clenched tightly, I snatch it out of her hand and storm off to my room.

Hot tears are threatening to spill out as I slam my bedroom door shut and throw myself onto my bed, drowning myself in the sheets.

I hate when my sister went through my things, specially my phone. Why? Because I don't want her to know what goes on in my struggling love life with my high school boyfriend.

I sit up, cross-legged with my hands resting on my lap. I instantly feel tears rolling down my flushed cheeks as I switch my phone off and carelessly drop it onto the floor, creating a loud bang.

I shift my gaze to the view outside, watching as the sun set. Although the scenario is meant to be claiming and soothing, I can't help but feel my blood boil inside me.

I bite down on my lower lip, aggressively wiping the tears with the edge of my sleeves.

The anger pumping through my veins and the fury in my eyes explains just how mad I am right now.

Unintentionally, I imagine Geum tugged under her bedsheets, her nightlight off and her eyes closed. Suddenly, her white pillow appears inches away from her, instantly getting suffocated with it over her pale face. She struggles to get the pillow off while trying to scream, almost trapped under the cotton fabric.

I immediately regain full control of my thoughts, my eyes widened with my lips slightly parted.

I swallow the lump in my throat, concentrating on the view outside as I let out a sigh.

I sharply sniff once I feel a liquid run down my nostrils, my gaze still fixated on the orange sky.

It's when I look down at my hands that I notice droplets of a thin liquid in crimson all over my fingers.

My eyes widen and I immediately shoot up and rush to the bathroom, twisting the tap on and bending down to wash off my bloodstained hands and nose.

For some reason, the red liquid won't stop rushing down my nose and the strong suffocating smell is making me nauseous.

I must be really frustrated to get a nosebleed.

After cleaning everything off my face, I lousily walk back to my bed and dive into the sheets with paper towels in my nostrils to stop the bleeding.

I try to calm myself down, not bothering to check my phone for any texts from my boyfriend and immediately fall asleep.

***

I wake up to a deafening scream, the high pitched voice belonging to my mother.

I spring up from my bed and rush outside, my steps big and heavy as I try to locate my screaming parent.

My legs take me to my sister's room, my eyes widening at the disturbing scene.

My mother has her arms firmly placed on my sister's laying body as she cries and yells for help while my sibling stays unresponsive and lifeless.

I stay frozen for a few seconds before rushing towards her with a million questions running through my head.

Once I'm close enough to her bed, I let out an agonizing scream, observing her face.

She has lips that have gone so pale and dry and skin that has turned a light shade of purple that I instantly realize what had happened.

She's dead.
