Hey guys!

This is my first time writing so sorry if there are any spelling or grammatical mistakes. Feel free to stop reading if you don't like something. Please do not post any rude comments, but any constructive criticism is welcome. This story is based on a real event that has happened. I hope you enjoy it.

"Ella, Emily come hear your father and I have something very important  to tell you." mom said with a upset kind of tone. 

"Coming." me and Emily said together.

 "I wonder what she has to tell us." I said

 "Well she said it was very important." Emily said with a worried expression on her face. Well whatever it is it can't be that bad. 

"Girls, as you know me and your father just got back from the hospital. Well they did a cat scan and they found a  large tumour in his head." she said "So they are going to do surgery on daddy to remove it."she said and as she did the words hit me like train. 

"So does that mean that dad has some sort of cancer?" Emily asked upset and now on the verge of tears. 

"I'm sorry to say but, yes dad has brain cancer." mom said looking as if she regretted that she said that.

 "He'll live tho right?" I said but she didn't answer me. " What stage is it?"I asked curiously

 "It's stage 4 brain cancer and they don't know how long he has even had the cancer." she said looking more worried then she has ever been.

 "where is daddy?" Emily asked 

 "He is at the hospital right now, because the doctors don't want him to leave right now." she said "Ok you guys need to go to bed because you have school tomorrow then after school we are going to go visit your dad."
