Summer night

It was an early night of heavy rain. The air was too cold for a summer night. A breeze blew through. He heard a faint, very faint sigh.
She wanted him to know that she was there, on the corner of the three-story building behind his back.
The nearly expected host of the night.
-She isn't human; you know it, don't you? That "girl from your school".
The boy did not give any oral nor physical response. No kind of response whatsoever.
The sigh in the breezes was way too cold to be from a summer night.
Both presences hurt.
-Mr. investigator: You should be careful- He narrowed his eyes when he heard the voice in the night air. If he focused, he could hear the words faintly –oh so faintly- escaping her slightly curved lips. An almost broken chuckle was heard:
-But you won't die, right? You'd leave so lonely.
The fragrance was deadly. He turned around immediately, wishing to discover the eternal intruder of his many nights and the ones to come.
And then, when his hairs challenged the air's course, when they were floating around his face and his eyes could focus on the corner of the building in front of them, she was not there anymore.
The words that seemed to be heard out of schizophrenic psychosis dissipated in thin air.
-Doll...
He continued his path. His figure faded amongst shadows and new-born lights.
