I sleep in my car that night and then I have to go to school. By the time I drive back into town I have a quarter of a tank left. Please let Tony be here today.

He sees me before I see him. "Melissa, how was your night beautiful?" He said.

"Me and my family got in a fight and kicked me out of the house and I have no money and I'm about to run out of gas in my car and I have no where to stay and they keep calling saying it's my fault" I say fighting back tears. I tell him everything that happen and by the end of it it looks like we both could cry.

"We will fix this I promise" he said as sweetly as possible. The first period bell rings and he walks me to class.

"I love you" he whispers in my ear before leaving for his class. I don't pay attention all day I'm too busy worrying about everything else. Money, food, oh beautiful wonderful food, and my siblings. I know it's stupid but being the oldest means I'm supposed to be there for them and right now I'm not. I can't be, I'm not allowed to go home. I'm going to prove them all wrong though this is their fault and they will apologize before I even think about talking. It could be 5 days or 5 years but I'm standing my ground this time!
