I would like to get feedback on this, because I see a lot of other people get feedback and I would like to know what you think of my story/book/novel/thingymerbobber... So please, tell me your opinion and vote if you can/want to. :S Not forcing you to do anything, but it would be nice.

"Elizabeth!" My boyfriend yelled for me from the living room.

We've been going out for about three years now, since I graduated we moved in together. We moved into a little apartment five months ago, and we're engaged now, and I'm 8 weeks pregnant. "Yes?" I asked, walking into the living room. Kevin was sitting with his friends - Ben, Carson, Andrew and a girl named Emily whose Carson's new girlfriend. "What do you want?"

"Will you make us food? We're starving!" His friends were chuckling because I've put on "weight" and they think I'm going to become like my mother.

In case it isn't obvious, his friends don't know about the baby... But, we plan on telling them.

I made them two pizzas by just taking them out of the box and putting them into the oven - though I don't know why they didn't do it themselves. After they finished eating, they left - leaving the mess for me to clean up. I'm tired of cleaning up after Kevin and his band... I mean, I'm not his mom, I'm his girlfriend. Did he even realize that? Maybe he won't ever notice... Especially with how distant he's been growing... He's been growing really distant since I've told him about the pregnancy.

When Kevin got home later, I went into his bedroom to talk to him.

"When are we going to tell your friends... about...? I'm tired of them making fun of me..." And because sooner or later I won't be able to hide the baby...

Kevin looked away, his blue eyes focused on his new guitar. "...Elizabeth..." He turned to face me and ran his hands through his highlighted blonde spikes. He looked at me like this was the last time he was going to see me. "...I decided that we shouldn't tell them." He looked away. "I don't want to ruin my reputation and I don't want a commitment."

Those words stung, was he meaning this? Is he being serious? What am I going to do without him? "Then, what am I supposed to do?" I asked in the weakest tone possible.

"I don't know... Get an abortion? I think it's better if we break up... and you go live somewhere else." He got up. He was being serious.

Tears about poured out of my eyes, but I held them back - he wouldn't care anyway.

So, I just nodded in fake agreement and forced myself to leave the room and locked myself in my bedroom. I threw everything Kevin ever gave me at the wall, and most of it broke... I can't believe him... I can't believe it. I can't raise a child I'm only 18... I only kept a photo of him and me together, then I packed up most of my clothes and valuables.

After that, I left... I mean, I didn't have a choice - Kevin didn't want me.

I started walking... I didn't have a destination... I just can't go back home... It was really getting dark outside now. I saw the woods on my left, I'll go lay next to a tree and sleep. I eventually couldn't see anywhere around me, because of the darkness and I fell asleep against the tree with a jacket wrapped around me that I brought, I had a flashlight and I had it on pointing the direction to the road.

I woke up to darkness, there was a figure standing in front of me - it was a man, which made me yelp.

"What do you want?" My eyes were wide, is he a ghost? Was he going to hurt me?

"What are you doing out here in the middle of the night sleeping?" He had a deep voice, which sounded edgy yet calming.

"I could ask you the same thing." I got up.

"I own the land." He pointed to the direction of a house... No, it's a mansion.

"Oh... Is it private property? Sorry for intruding." I picked up my stuff and began walking in the opposite direction... My flashlight was still on, is that how he found me?

The man followed me.

"What do you want?" I turned around to see him, we were now by streetlights and I can see him clearly.

He looks like he just stepped out of a magazine cover, and looks to be in his twenties. His hair was medium length (not long but not too short?), a prickly beard - probably from a lack of shaving, and he was also pretty tan... He was very slender and was dressed in a tux and everything. He's also taller then me by a foot, but then again I am really short.

"Are you a run away?" He thinks I'm a kid? Figures.

"N-no..." I turned away. "I'll be going now."

He grabbed me by my wrist. "Why were you sleeping outside?"

"I was tired?"

"Most people wait until they get home to sleep... You look sick and lonely... I know this going to make me sound like a creep, but why don't you spend the night at my house? I can take care of you." I didn't know what to say or do; I didn't have anywhere else to go... I didn't want to feel like a freeloader... And I don't even know him, but then again, I could get to know him.

"What's your name?" I took a hold of his hand.

"I'm Christopher Monroe, but call me Chris and yourself?" He led us towards his mansion.

"...I'm Elizabeth Coleman. Um, sir... Can you tell me some things about yourself? I feel awkward that I'm going to spend the night with someone I don't even know..." I bit my lip; I guess I should be grateful that I'm going to at least have a place to sleep... Tonight, but what about tomorrow night?

"What would you like to know?" We were now in the mansions yard, well, at the front gate. It was an iron gate - then a huge yard. All I could see was a pond and a garden, but I'm sure there's more. The mansion was made out of a white stone it looked ultra fancy.... So, I'm assuming Christopher is Marjory rich... Well, not assuming, it's very obvious.

"Anything." I couldn't take my eyes off the mansion.

"Okay, well... Hm... I'm Twenty-one. I have a daughter, her name's Melissa; she's only a year old. I sold a lot of business ideas and the mansion is inherited from my parents." He opened the gate.

"You have a daughter? What happened to her mother?" Should I tell him that I'm pregnant? Or is that too inappropriate for this moment?

"My wife cheated on me, while she was pregnant.... She disappeared... completely... Then I just found Melissa on my doorstep with her birth certificate and a note and everything... She doesn't even want our daughter, because she doesn't want to be reminded of me. What about you?" We continued to walk closer to his mansion.

"I...I'm 8 weeks pregnant with my boyfriend and I'm 18.... Well, ex boyfriend... I don't have a job... I wanted to be a stay-at-home wife and mom and we were planning to get married.... But, he apparently has other plans." It stung to say this.

"Ah, I'm so sorry... Tomorrow do you want me to take you to a family members house or something?"

I shook my head. "My parents disowned me," because I choose Kevin over them, "my grandparents are dead, and my parents brothers and sisters live in other states and countries... So I don't have anywhere else to go, but don't worry I'll find a place to go tomorrow."

We reached the door and he opened it, to a bunch of overly decorated furniture, old fashioned, the kind you'd expect in a mansion. Mostly in maroon colors, a gold, and a brushed silver.

"Why don't you stay with me and take care of my daughter?"

I didn't know what to say, but I didn't have anywhere else to go so I said, "okay."
