The flames burned with a harsh light, reflecting cruelly along the pools of blood. The blood as splattered across everything; walls, floors, the ceiling... and the face of a young shocked bunny. Th blood mixed in his white fur, and streamed into his blue eyes. Bun-Bun watched with frozen joints the vicious murder of his family. A lone figure was still punching at an already broken corpse.
The flames rose higher, licking the sky and bathing the world in amber. The lone figure stood and turned to Bun-Bun. "Your family died, because you are weak." The figure strode closer in long, solemn steps. "They died, because you are a coward." He came closer and closer until he was bearing down on Bun-Bun, who's heart felt like lead. "And most importantly," the figure crouched until he was eye to eye with Bun-Bun, hi mask flickering in the fire light, "They died because you. Simpy. Don't. Deserve. To exist." The fist appeared in a flash, plunging the world in a brighter light than the flames.
Bun-Bun fell to the floor, blood dripping from his head. He saw the mysterious figure walking away through a hole in the wall, the flames leaping towards him like a lover. He turned his masked head over his shoulder, and said two things.
"Grow stronger young one. I'll be waiting to test your worth."

Bun-Bun snapped up in his bed, his fur soaked with cold sweat. He struggled to control his rapid breathing, and his heart felt like it would burst out his chest. He had had that dream again. That recurring nightmare from his past. He put one hand to his face, and rubbed at his eye. The clock by his bed showed it was half past five in the morning. He needed to get ready.
He got out of bed, when he heard a shift. Instinct drove him to grab outwards. His hand connected with a forearm and he wrenchedit back. His knee connected with someone's head, and he drove it into the bed. "Who are you and what do you want?" Bun-Bun didn't like talking much, so he got right to the point whenever he did. An irritated reply came from underneath him.
"Gefh your knee ouf of mah fash, or I'll friggin breaf you!" The mumbled words were familar to Bun-Bun, who abruptly got up. The figure got up and rubbed her cheek. "Sheesh! You need to learn to stop overreacting so much. You might actually kill me one of these days!"
Sheena was a cat, and was a close friend of Bun-Bun's. Though they didn't have a formal relationship, they were still very close. She helped him sleep at night, and he helped her pay the bills. And then there's the other stuff you do for each other.... But that's irrelevant at the moment.
Bun-Bun let out a sigh, then walked to the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. His fur was still a soft white, and pretty short on his body. He was still perfectly muscled, not too bulky, yet not too thin. he still didn't partivularly like his hair. It's spiky blackness contrasted with his fur too much. But he couldn't bear to cut or dye it. It was a reminder of what he lost.
A painful surge of emotion made Bun-Bun grip the edge of the sink tightly, breaking through the marble surface. "What was that?" asked Sheena from the bedroom. It seemed she was trying to go back to sleep. Bun-Bun decided to not tell her, and instead, get ready for work before he gets any later. Bun-Bun slowly walks back into the room and grabs his clothes. His signature vest and jeans are on the back of a chair in the corner, and his black hand and foot wraps are sprawled on the floor.
{Must keep wraps in better condition.} Bun-Bun thinks to himself after putting on his clothes. He hads out the door to the apartment and begins going up the stairs. He trudges his way to the edge of the roof, and inhales deeply. The star-littered sky looks down at him unblinkingly, and a sense of calm washes through Bun-Bun. He backs away about three meters from the ledge, then closes the gap. Just before reaching the edge, he crouches down low. He pushes his powerful legs upward, and leaps across the next rooftop, and onto the one after. As soon as his lower foot touches, he bends his knee and rolls to reduce the impact. After the initial roll, Bun-Bun begins running forward, not breaking his pace for anything.
Leaping across other buildings, clearing small obstacles like vents and air conditioners. His daily parkour session was going pretty well. Looked like it would be another boring day-
CRASH!!!
BOOM!!!
CRUNCH!!!
Bun-Bun landed hard on his side. The attack had caught him unawares, so he took the full brunt of it to his side. Both he and the assailant were flung off the roof, and to an alley below.
