jace had been gone for almost a hour now
me and matt couldn't keep the smirks off our face
"where do you think they are?"matt asked whispering
i shrugged
"maybe the bedroom?"i suggested raising my eyebrows
someone's thoart cleared,i glanced at reece who was glaring at us
i smiled innocently
reece whispered something to john (grace's dad) before leaving the house
"so what happened today at school?the school phoned and said something grace hitting some girl"sarah asked looking at us
i glanced at matt ,i gave him a pleading look
"well"mat was cut off by hushed whispering
i turned my head towards the stairs as did matt
"shhhh hopefully no one guesses with've gone for ages"i heard jace whisper
light chuckling sounded through my ears
"we,ve been gone for almost an hour.someone has to notice"grace's voice whispered

both there parents looked over at the stairs
jace's parents both had grin spread arcoss there face
grace's parents, well her dad looked mad and her mom look confused
grace came into view first ,she glanced at us nerviously before mumbling "oh oh"
"what ? whats the matter ?"jace's voice boomed throught the dining room
he appeared seconds later
"crap"he muttered under his breath
grace turned towards jace leaning closer to his ear
"should we do a runner?"she asked desperately
"DONT YOU EVEN DARE "her dad shouted "sit down "
"damn it ,this is your fault jace"grace muttered to jace
"me it was your idea"jace accused
"what?it was you !"grace yelled
i took in grace's appearance, her hair was slightly messy,her lipstick was wore out a little,her eyes had a yellow tint to them and her face looked flushed
i glanced at jace ,whos hair was messy, his lips were red,his boe tie was missing and he had lip stick kiss mark on his neck
i snorted with laughter but quickly covered it up with a cough
"i said sit down "john yelled
they slowly made there way back to there sits before john stopped them
"there"he said pointing at the sits next to him
grace stepped foward pressing her chest againist jace's back
he entwined there fingers
they slowly sat down, hiding there entwined fingers under the table
her dad sighed "right,where have you two been ?and what happened to your hair?"
grace blushed slightly
