Love is like a block of marble. You can chose to leave it as it is, or you can pick up some tools and chisel it in hope that is may become something more. You may spend months, even years, chiselling away at your marble, and somethings it is worth your time and it becomes a beautiful piece of artwork that you can be proud of and nurture, but more often then not you give up on the marble and leave it half finished, or you chisel away too much at the marble until there's nothing left to show for your hard work. And sometimes you crack it great ugly gaping holes tearing across sometimes you once thought was so beautiful, something you once thought was full of potential, and you will realise you wasted your time on nothing.
