The New Kid (Chapter 1)

Eren's Pov.

"Eren get your butt out of bed we're leaving in 10 minutes!" My adopted sister Mikasa yells through my bedroom door. Hearing this I jump out of bed and get ready quickly.

I rush downstairs after getting dressed and grab my bag. "Get yourself a muffin at the school since you didn't eat." Mikasa says. "I'm fine. I'm not much of a breakfast person." I say. Mikasa and I both walk to school.

"Mikasa, Eren!" My friend Armin calls out then runs to Mikasa and I. "Eren you're hair is a mess. Did you wake up late again?" Armin asks. "Um...yeah I did. Also my hair is always a mess." I say with a shrug at the end. Armin just shakes his head.

"I'll see you two later. Bye" Mikasa says then leaves to go hang out with Annie. "Did you hear about the new kid?" Armin asks. I shake my head no. "No, why? It must be pretty big if it caught your interest." I say

"Well I heard that he's been transferred to a different school 6 times and that this is the 7th time." Armin says. I was a bit shocked by it to be honest. "Huh. Sounds like a bad boy to me." I say with a shrug. I then get an idea. "Do you know what his name is?" I ask Armin. He thinks for a moment then answers "I think his name is-" The bell rung signaling that it was passing time. "I'll tell you later." Armin says and walks to his class. I sigh and go to my own class.

About a minute after I sit down in my seat the tardy bell rings and Mr. Pixis calls roll saying a name that wasn't familiar to the class. "Is Levi here." Mr. Pixis asks the class. One girl raisesher hand "Yes Hanji?" Mr. Pixis says. "He'll be here soon! He's just late I bet!" Hanji says energeticly like she always is.

I then heard the classroom door slam shut and turned my head towards the sound only to see a raven haired male with a scowl on his face.

Levi's pov

I don't want to be here. I think as I slam the classroom door my new "peers" all turning their head to see why the door slammed shut. "Tch, mind you're own god damn fucking business brats." I say annoyed.

"Ah, you must be Levi." Say my new dumb ass teacher. "Just tell me where to sit asshole." I say rudely not wanting to be here. "No cussing in the classroom. Also you can sit next to Eren. He's the one in the back by the window." The teacher says and I go sit in the desk next to the brat.

"Today is a freeday since I'm grading papers. You may all talk." Says the teacher and the students start conversing. A guy with a horse face walks up to the brat next to me.

Eren's pov

"Hey gayger, what's that your drawing?" Says Jean. "Leave me alone Horse Face." I say a bit annoyed. "The fuck you just call me?" Jean says grabbing a hold of my shirt and pulling me out of my desk. "The hell Jean! Let go of me!" I yell at him and knee him in the balls. He lets go of my shirt and falls to the floor in pain.

"You're such a dumb ass Jean." I say then sit back in my seat. I look at the new kid. "Sorry about him he's an asshole." I apologize. "Tch, as far as I know you are both shitty brats." He says rudely towards me. "Damn, ok man no need to be short tempered." I say going back to my drawing.

I was then punched in the jaw and fell out of my seat. "Ah! What the fuck!?" I yell then look to see who punched me. It was the new kid. He grabs a hold of my hair and yanks me off the ground. "Listen you little shit. I will not hesitate to beat the crap out of you." The new kid threatens me.

I get defensive and stand up removing his hand from my hair . "What the fuck is wrong with you?! What did I say to make you so...oh I get it now." I say realizing what ticked him off. The word short is a trigger word for him. I don't blame him though.

"I'm sorry I won't say it again." I apologize to him. "Tch, brat." He says then sits back into his seat. I sit back down in my seat and checked my jaw for any swelling or displacement. Luckily there was no swelling or displacement but I knew a bruise was going to appear at some point.

Horse Face had gone back to his desk and people start to ask me if I was ok. "Are you alright dude?" Connie asks. "Yeah I'll be alright." I say with a smile.
