Lexi's POV:

After the little encounter at the record label it was finally the day of the met gala.

Me and Justin had managed to arrive in New York without the paps catching us. That was a plus. Although the ride on the plane was not fun considering I had morning sickness the whole time.

I had always admired all the outfits of the met gala and the fact that I get to make an appearance at one is mind blowing.

The crisp New York air was very soothing. I had been tired of the LA heat and was glad that there was a switch up with the climate. Even though my skin didn't agree. Anytime I traveled my skin was always going fucking crazy because it's so use to the perfect California weather.

I hadn't been in New York since my fourteenth birthday. So about four years ago. My dad thought it would be a great idea since I was in a phase where I was in love with Broadway. I had a blast and that's why I was so excited to be back. I loved New York.

We had been in the car for about twenty minutes now and I was glad that we had finally made it to the hotel.

Justin's hand left my thigh as he intertwined our hands together. I smiled a small smile as we stepped out.

Although we were lucky enough to not run into paps at the airport we weren't so lucky here.

There was so many of them. I think the reason was partially because the hotel we were staying at is where all the celebrities participating in the met gala were at.

The flashes were more intense here then California. I couldn't see a thing and Justin gripped my hand tighter leading the way. And as usual we received the same rude and obnoxious questions and sayings.

"Justin, Lexi over here."

"Are you guys fucking?"

"Damn JB. You finally managed to keep a lady longer than a night."

I could feel Justin tense up due to the last comment. I rubbed my thumb soothingly on his hand reassuring him it was going to be okay.

After what felt like hours we finally managed to reach the double doors of the hotel.

I was glad considering paps weren't able to enter the hotel.

Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding I was finally relieved.

"Baby lets go up to our room." Justin said in a hushed tone.

Nodding we made our way to the elevators with our security and luggage following closely behind.

"What floor are we on?" I asked.

"Twenty Four." Nodding I click the number and the elevator shoots up. With his hand still intertwined with mine he managed to sooth me with his thumb. Doing the exact same thing I did to him.
