we sat in silence for a few minutes when my dad cleared his throat "how long have u lived out here for?" he asked James "for about a year, its a really nice place trust me you guys will fit in just fine" James gave my dad a smile and looked at me, his gaze gave me a chill that went down my spin. After dinner that seemed to last forever I disited to go to my room, as I was about to walk up stairs I heard James talking to my mom in the kitchen " I was wondering if I could maybe stay a while here my house is getting renovated and I have no place to sleep, I won't be a bother and I'll keep out of your way, it will only be for tonight" my mom seemed shocked at the question seeing we only just meet him but she gave him a smile nodding yes in return. That's when I felt like nothing was going to be alright and I walked up stares to stay in my room and get ready for bed.
