Chapter 5

Hunters pov...

We climb down the latter outside of Jeremiah's room. This is going to be terrible. I'm so scared for her. I don't want her to get hurt!
Me: Jeremiah.
Jeremiah: Yeah?
Me: Why do you want to do this so badly?
Jeremiah: Because hunter. Have you ever wanted to go somewhere or do something so badly it just irritates you so much?
Me: Yes.
Jeremiah: There's your answer then.
I frown and grab her hand and stop walking.
Jeremiah: Hunter come on let's go!
Me: JD. I'm not letting you do this.
Jeremiah: Yes you are!
She lets go of my hand and runs toward the park. I run towards her.

Jeremiahs pov..

I start running towards the park with Hunter running towards me. I get there before Hunter could catch me.
Hunter: Come on JD lets go home! It's not worth it!
I just ignore him and walk towards the swings that I told Zoe to meet me at. I check my phone and it's 10:44.
Me: Hunter come here!
He comes by me and holds my hand.
Me: Hold my phone.
I grab my phone out of my pocket and hand it to him.
Hunter: You do realize, if this gets really bad, I'm pulling you out.
Me: Yes. I understand that Hunter.
Hunter: Okay.
Zoe comes around the corner.
Zoe: So. You want to fight huh? Is this over Hunter? You know I'll win.
Me: No its not just about Hunter, it's also about YOU being so rude.
Hunter squeezes my hand as Zoe walks up to me about two inches away from my face.
Zoe: oh really?
Me: Yes. And only hunters aloud this close to my face get the hell away from me.
I push her making her fall into the mud. She goes to punch me but I dodge it kicking her knees and making her fall again. She gets up and tackles me. I push her off of me and punch her in the eye making her stop to hold her eye. I also punch her stomach to make her loose air. I go to punch again but Hunter grabs my arm and rips me off of her.
Hunter: Come on let's go!
I get on his back and he starts to run. We get about five minutes away from the park and he lets me down.
Me: Look, I'm sorry Hunter. But I needed to do that.
Hunter: You're just lucky we didn't get caught. We do not speak of this in school or anywhere.
I nod my head and smile.
Hunter: Why are you smiling?
Me: Because I'm thinking about how funny it was when I said "only hunters aloud this close to my face" and I pushed her.
He smiles and puts his arms around my shoulders.
*skip to home*
We go up the latter into my room then shut the window and put down the blinds.

Me: Hunter?
Hunter: Hm?
Me: Dont look I'm changing into my pjs.
Hunter: Okay.
He looks at his phone and I change into my adidas sweatpants.
Me: Okay you're good.
Hunter looks at me.
Hunter: We have the same pants on.
Me: Twinziessss!
I laugh but he doesn't.
Me: What's wrong babe?
Hunter: I just got really worried.
Me: I'm okay Hunter!
He gets up and hugs me.
Hunter: Want to watch some Netflix or something?
Me: Sure.
He turns on his Xbox and tv and I turn off the lights. We go into his bed and we cuddle watching frozen. I start to sing.
Me: LET IT GOOO LET IT GOOOO!!!! CANT HOLD IT BACK ANYMORE!!
Hunter laughs and lays his head on my chest. I play with his hair.
Hunter: I'll be right back.
Me: Kay.
He gets up and walks out. Brandon walks past just as Hunter walks out so he comes in here.
Brandon: Hey.
Me: hi.
Brandon: Be careful. And stay with Hunter as much as possible.
Me: Why?
Brandon: He cheats sometimes.
Me: What?
Brando: Here's my number. Text me tonight.
He gives me his number and walks out. I wonder what that was about. I put his number in my phone and stay turned to that side. Hunter comes in and lays down. He grabs my waist and pulls me towards him.
Hunter: I love you so much.
Me: I love you too.
We cuddled and fell asleep....
