CHAPTER 1: Madi's POV
"Are you sure you want to do this? The last time you tried you almost shot your eye out." I told Liam, raising my eyebrows and giving him a look. He nodded, then took a bite of his chopped up chicken teriyaki. "Mm, this is so good! Anyways, I'm sure, Madi. What's the worst that could happen at a shooting range?" I gave him a gloomy look. "I just said what could happen that DID happen!" Liam tilted his head to his right then put it back where it always is. "Alright, but when you lose an eye, I'll forget your my guardian." Liam smiled and rolled his eyes. How rude! Ugh!
We drove up and parked on the curb. "Madi, if you lose an eye, I'll send you some flowers." Liam said, grinning his arse off. This time, I rolled my eyes. "WELL, HAI! WELL, WELL, WELL! Isn't it the Kiam Payne!" A western guy in his 50's or 40's said. "Hi, mate. Actually it's Lee-yum, not kee-yum." The guy nodded. "And whose this young lady? She looks like she's your grandma. HELLO, SWEETY, DO YOU NEED HEARING AIDS?!?" I stepped back a inch. "I do now!" I said, smirking, then it faded away. "Actually, no, I'm her guardian. Look it up on WWW.ONEDIRECTIONNEWS.ORG, Mr.Butcher." Said Liam. I nodded. "Yup. I'm tooooooo young to be his grandmother. Plus, he already has that."
When we got home, I was surprised I didn't lose an eye, and neither did Liam. "Hello, Madi. Liam, she didn't lose her memory after hearing those gun shots, did she?" Liam shook his head, and so did I. Eleanor came walking in the room. "Oh, hello, Madi! Long time, no see! How are you, darling?" Eleanor told me. I smiled and gave her a bear hug. "I'm good, I'm good. How are you, El?" I told her. She said she was fine and whispered to Louis; "Did you tell her yet, Lou?" My eyebrows knit together. "No, not yet, I wasn't gonna wait for you, luv." He whispered back. I thought whispering was pointless since I could hear them both. "Okay, Madi, we have some news for you." Eleanor announced. "I've heard, you two aren't very good at whispering." I told them, grinning. "Okay, so, me and Louis are adopting you to be your parents! Louis, here is already your father but I will be your mum. Are you alright with that?" My eyebrows knit together again. "But you two aren't even married so how is it supposed to feel like your actually my mother?" I asked. Eleanor and Louis began to look at each other, grinning from ear to ear. Then, finally, Louis turned his head to look at me. "We're getting married!"
